Even if you consider Diggs second half as whay he will be going forward....they have downgraded significanty

Not hating on Diggs I think his time had come and the offensive mindset and plan did not need him anymore

I think talent wise yes but scheme and how we will operate going forward no one really knows

I think we sold at the right time

Wasn't a fan of the pick but I'm warming up to Coleman as that bigger Gabe Davis with better hands comp that people have put out. We're focused on a Diggs replacement but we have to replace Davis too, and even though he was frustratingly inconsistent at times he provided a lot of value as a blocker and leader that does leave a void. Gabe Davis himself would be a decent 2nd round pick, a Gabe that doesn't drop critical passes is a good starter. I also respect the importance that Beane and McDermott put on character - I have to believe having good, hard working guys up and down the roster and having that culture permeate the building is a big reason why we've won 48 games over the past 4 years.

So we won't replace Diggs this year, but that was always a tall order unless we went all in on a guy which I'm happy we didn't do. Add a speed guy with some Z upside today and I'll be satisfied with our weapons, acknowledging that we can upgrade more next year. But hopefully I'm wrong and he's the next Brandon Marshall!

Samuel is the diggs replacement and Coleman is the Davis replacement

that’s how I see it now can they produce the same or better that’s the question

This is the crap that will get McD fired at the end of this upcoming season....I hope.

Maybe Beane will go with him; this strikes me as a horrible draft so far.

I’m meh on the pick but it did not ruin a draft he set is up to get quality players in the next few picks and expect another trade who

Understood. But why limit yourself to those choices. Get someone who will actually contribute. I've seen enough from him.

    You think he can’t

others think he can more then an old vet or late round pick

he is our 4th CB right now and our backup outside CB I think is better then other options

  5. Elam gets to much hate he is probably our biggest and most athletic DB and hasn’t looked terrible out there.

I wouldn’t be giving him up for pennies he’s 22 years old

you always need DBs as well so we would just be drafting a 5th-7th rounder to replace him or signing an old vet no thanks

I find it interesting that many of the same individuals arguing for failed first round QBs to get second or even third chances are so fast to dismiss Levis after his rookie campaign, even though he played better as a rookie than numerous first round QBs in the last few years.

His oline was so bad I watched a few games just bc it impacted playoff chances and he was getting crushed

I'm not their no. 1 fan but if you're rated as two of the very worst safeties...chances are you're not very good

Also, all 32 NFL teams and a couple hundred colleges pay for their professional services, so I'd say they have some credibility.

    I’m talking about the sound

    Rapp and Edwards starting?

Good solid safeties? No, they're not.

I sincerely hope that is not the plan.

    PFF rankings for last season,

Edwards 82nd of 95 qualified safeties

    Rapp.  85th of 95

    What a dynamic duo

Regardless of your opinion of PFF ...

pfff sounds like a wet fart

If Samuel is so good why didn’t I notice him when we played the commanders?
