  1. Never started a topic before, so apologies if this is in the wrong place.  My mom turns 90 on Christmas Day and is a huge Bills fan.  She loves Josh, of course, and we have included Josh and Diggs on the invite list for her party.  My sister and I just got the idea after tonight's game, that it would be great to have one of these cardboard cutouts of Josh at her party.  Just checked Amazon, and they have it, but cant guarantee delivery by Christmas.  So was wondering if I can buy one somewhere in Western New York.  Does anyone know of a place I could buy one this week?  Thanks in advance.

It’s the movie that got my wife super interested in watching the draft every year…so there’s that.

My wife watches it with me every year.  She has no interest in the draft.  Very funny movie.  We love the look on Vonte's face when the pick is announced.

Pretty sure the deadline for the RFA tender is before the start of the new league year - next Tuesday. Then the deadline for the player to get and present an offer sheet from another team is usually around a week before the draft. April 22ish I think it is this year.

Worth mentioning, once the RFA tender is applied the amount counts against our cap right away. So for example, we are already something like $3.5 mil over the cap. If they put a tender out there on Bates for whatever amount, say $4 mil, the $4 mil instantly figures into our top 51 cap figure and raises the already over $3.5 mil by that much more.

The Bills need to start making cap moves soon.

    Good Call

Have noticed this before, just saw it again. Wyatt Teller wearing black gloves, gets called for holding on red jersey Chief. Why these O-linemen cant get smart and wear gloves that match opponents jerseys - making hands more camouflaged?

Same thing with Def backs. Any small advantage would be worth it.

i remember years ago the story from a Bills lineman - was wearing some bright colored “lucky” gloves and getting holding calls - he changed the color and the holding calls dropped.

I agree with you and have often wondered why they don't wear gloves that match opposing uniforms more closely.  But I have to say Teller had him in a headlock and deserved the holding call.

    Let's add to the list:

    - The Patriot fan, struggling with holding on to a glimmer of hope at half time watches the Bills come out the first drive of the third quarter and jam it down their throat!

    - The Patriots play us tough the first meeting of the season and maybe could have won, but get their doors blown off in the second meeting so that you wonder how it was ever that close in the first game.

    - Up by 22 in the 3rd quarter, the Bills throw deep.

    - Up by 22 in the 3rd quarter, the Bills play a bunch of empty backfield with no hint of running the ball.

    - The Patriots punt from our side of the field!

    - They pin us deep, but it doesn't matter because we score anyway.

    - The gushing of the announcers!

This is hysterical.  You nailed it.

  6. Chris Brown has made the broadcast almost unlistenable for me.  He never stops talking.  He constantly talks over Tasker, interrupting him or finishing his thoughts for him.  Drives me nuts.  Also, he is way louder than Tasker, and I have to keep turning the volume up and down in my car.  I know Tasker is not great, but they do not make a good team at all.  I thought Murph and Tasker were much better.

These are the playoffs and loser goes home,  if Sean and his cordinators play not to lose then they will lose.  I hope to see Frazier being aggressive by calling for corner bltizs on defense and Daboll throwing the ball on early downs,  we cannot play conservative if we expect to win.

Wanted to say this.  Especially on offense.  We tend to get conservative and predictable when we get a lead.  Hope they let Josh keep attacking.  Run when they expect pass.  Pass when they expect run.  Lets win this thing!

    Getting excited!

People are forgetting how he played in Sept and Oct.  I recall him closing out a couple close wins.  And he did what he was supposed to do on the last drive against the Steelers.  Only reason that game got exciting in the last few seconds was because of the holding call.

This.  Gore has had tough sledding the last few games, yet still averaging 3.6 per game.  He is often running when everybody knows we are going to run, so that hurts his stats.  But he can be counted on and doesn't give the game away.  I love the way they use him.

He has played 4 more games this year so far than last.

He is not on pace for the same number of ints over the same amount of games.  He will have at least 5 extra games this season if he doesn't get hurt in the next 3 weeks.

    Yes it does

His completions have improved period.  He is completing 4 more balls per game this season.  Its still an improvement no matter how you look at it

    Still an improvement

His rating is also up 16.7 points which is pretty significant

He has also improved about 1/2 td per game.  May not sound like a lot but its 8 on the year extrapolated.

Passing yards per game up 33ish.

All those are subject to change with 2 games left.  One against a Jets team that will be ready to just end their season by then.  Small to decent improvements are improvements.  That's just statistical.  Do you not see improvement in the 10-20 yard range?  The bread and butter in the NFL.  He has vastly improved in this area.

I see a lot of progress in Josh.  Its just not as fast as you want it, but its still there.

I would also like to add Josh has 10 wins this season compared to 5 (I think) last year.
