  1. They weren't ready for Houston...argument can be made they weren't ready last year either...add in injuries and you get the loss.

This year they're healthy and have hit a healthy stride of balance between running and passing...Knox has come on...Motor's rolling...I'm feeling pretty damn excited for tomorrow

  2. Ever see Rounders?  Allen didn't bite on the Pats gameplan of making him hold and throw deep?

Instead of taking the home run he checked down quite a bit yesterday.  Whereas earlier in the year it seemed like the min distance he was looking to throw was 15+ yards per toss.

He fed motor the ball and McKenzie who came up huge on shorter high % passes...never connecting on the big play but didn't need to because of efficiency.

Point being Beasley shouldn't be crapped on until he plays in a game with a similar gameplan.  I think he is better at finding holes, Mckenzie is clearly more gifted with speed etc..so the whole COVID debate aside if this is how they play headed into the playoffs the next two weeks should be fun for comparison.

  3. This topic has always interested me.  He is such a "Buffalo guy"....will he work out a team friendly contract to build a winner or swing for the fences and make that difficult....I know it's a business but I'm eager to see how this comes in.

  4. Monday morning quarterbacking is always cheap therapy...

I would have had Gabriel Davis in on the last play to knock the ball down.

This was a game they should have lost with the way they played in the 3rd and part of the 4th....  BUT, this is the type of game they need headed into a playoff run.  They didn't quit and hopefully they can draw from that when it's needed again.

  5. I'm a long time follower of this message board rarely do I contribute.

I'm wondering how many agree with my position that I'm fed up with the over saturation of politics in everything.

Bottom line is there are 32 NFL owners who take advantage of a non-taxable status.

This isn't a question of freedom of speech but an example of employees doing what their employers let them.

To me this seems like a way to generate free press for the league and is less about the message.

If employees had freedom of speech that Google staffer would not have been fired for the memo he wrote a few months back: https://www.recode.net/2017/8/7/16110696/firing-google-ceo-employee-penned-controversial-memo-on-women-has-violated-its-code-of-conduct

Enough is enough, Sunday used to be reserved for only hating on Refs and their bad calls. I miss those days.

  6. Flame away but consider this.

He brings fire and passion. Surround him with a strong offensive team and keep Wanny in place and I think that could change the soft culture that has been around 1 Bills Drive since Wade left.

Since this would be his first HC gig he might consider coming to a place such as Buffalo, but woudln't command a salary like Gruden, Billick or Cowher (guys who are older and wouldn't come anyways).

Enough with the "give Chan a chance" crap. The reason I am not sold on him or Edwards is that they are absolutely unable to adapt, in game or between games.

It has been the same story week in and week out. Change has to come or they risk not selling out November games on top of December games next year.
