Quarterback, plain and simple. Get Mallet or Luck first round. Trade Whitner, whatever pick we get from Seattle, and a fifth and move back up in the late first round and take a LB or T. If you don't take a quarterback first round, no matter what this team will be more frustrating to watch. Get a good line, a defense that won't get injured within the first 8 weeks (tough guys), and have Fitzy or a older QB who will be a free agent, help out the new QB till he gets aquainted with the offense. Falcons took Matt Ryan, playoff team and first in their division. Lions took Stafford, and when he is not injured, they have won every game (I believe). It's not rocket science, teams ralley around a 22 - 23 year old kid if he is a top 5 picked quarterback, and so does the city. If we pick anything else, it will be another non-eye popping draft by the Bills and when the fans don't believe, teams usually closely follow the pattern. Mallet or Luck, and if we get a late round pick take another QB.

As much as I would like this to happen, the Rams have already offered their second round pick (33rd overall) and safety Otogwe for McNabb, and the Eagles aren't interested.

yeah not too many people around here are happy at all...of course he was injured for the most part and still had close, if not better, numbers than Coles. I agree, give it to Brohm and lets hope we find a diamond in the rough franchise QB via draft or free agency/trades for next year

Hey guys I'm new to twobillsdrive and thought this first thread seemed pretty interesting. I agree that we do need more picks but I'm throwing a wild idea out there. This is probably more ideal in the minds of Madden players, but what if we traded UP with Detroit. They are shopping for a team to take that pick because they frankily can't afford it. Kevin Smith's injury problems are a cause for concern, so what if we traded Lynch, 1st rd pick, 3rd rd, and a 6th rd pick for their 2nd overall pick and Ernie Simms. We take either Suh or McCoy with that pick, get an amazing LB, and also have a 2nd rd pick to select a QB or OL. If we believe we are set at NT, which we are not, we could take a LT but I think taking either one of those two to anchor our defense along with Simms would be amazing. Again, probably more suitable for a Madden '10 trade than reality, but just a thought.
