  1. Per Drafttek trade chart 19th pick is worth Denver's 31st and 63rd picks.

    31st Jarran Reed DT Alabama

49th Von Bell SS Ohio ST

    63rd Kamalei Correa OLB

    80th Cyrus Jones CB Alabama

    117th Charone Peake WR Clemson

    139th Kevin Hogan QB Stanford

    156th Antonio Morrison ILB Florida

    192nd Aziz Shittu DE Stanford

That's a mighty fine Bills mock right there.

    Love the trade down, Bandit!!!

  2. Great idea for a final week thread!

    Love:

    19: Jack Conklin OT

    49: Bronson Kaufusi ED

  3. The logical move is to find a project in later rounds.

if Whaley is in heat for Lynch early we have a problem. Either TT inspires little confidence or Whaley is off the deep end and full of himself trying to swing for some imaginary fence. This draft needs to refill the roster

Can you have both? Here's my simulation with all of our Analysts' Grabs also included for fairness:

1 19 Buffalo Paxton Lynch QB Memphis

    2 49 Buffalo Kenny Clark DT34 UCLA

3 80 Buffalo Kyler Fackrell OLB34 Utah State

4 117 Buffalo Pearce Slater RT San Diego St

    4 139 Buffalo T.J. Green FS Clemson

5 156 Buffalo Mehdi Abdesmad DE34 Boston College

6 192 Buffalo Kevin Byard SS Middle Tennessee

6 218 Buffalo James Burgess ILB Louisville

  4. Whaley: Patriots will have 3-4 wides, Bowles will have 3 wides, Miami will have 3 wides....You'll be in nickel and dime a LOT.

Sounds to me like CB and/or S earlier than later. To me, this can't be done and fill all of our needs with 8 picks.

Suppose Seattle at #25 wants to get ahead of Washington at #20 to select DT A'Shawn Robinson instead of Nkemdiche.

They must trade with either the Jets or the Bills. It would take Seattle's RD3#90 pick to do it.

  5. i think he'd be a fine #2 WR and can't ignore the Pitt connection with Whaley

    Boyd has some potential.

---He broke Larry Fitzgerald's records at Pitt,

---finished second to Tony Dorsett in all-purpose yards (7,117).

---he's consistent. 85 passes for 1,174 yards with seven touchdowns in 2013. 78 receptions for 1,126 yards and eight touchdowns in 2014. 91 receptions for 926 yards 6 touchdowns in 2015, but added 349 yards rushing.

---15.2 yards per catch against AP-ranked teams is one of the highest in his class.

    Scouting Report: http://ngscsports.com/2016/04/12/scouting-report-tyler-boyd-wr-pittsburgh/"

  6. Yeah I'm excited to see what haul of players the Titans can pull from all those picks in this draft. One first, three seconds, and two third rounders. Yum.

    I ran the D-Tek simulator:

1 15 Tennessee Ronnie Stanley OT Notre Dame P4Grab +7 Value

    2 33 Tennessee Noah Spence OLB34 Ea. Kentucky P2Grab +10 Value

2 43 Tennessee Darian Thompson FS Boise State P2 -9 Reach
2 45 Tennessee Artie Burns CB Miami (FL) P3 +5 Value
    3 64 Tennessee Austin Johnson DT34 Penn State P4 +11 Value
3 76 Tennessee Tyler Boyd WRF Pittsburgh P6 +22 Value
5 140 Tennessee Paul Perkins RBC UCLA P4 +42 Value
6 193 Tennessee David Morgan II TE UTSA P4R +4 Value
7 222 Tennessee Jeff Driskel QB Louisiana Tech P4R +6 Value
  7. I think Benechoch could be someone they can get late since he's more scheme-specific but I think aligns well with Roman.

Charone Peake is one of my draft crushes. I think he has #1 WR potential.

Yes to both! Benenoch is a good get with the RD6 Comp pick.

Charone Peake was Sammy's roommate at Clemson, and if he ever catches fire, he'll catch everything.

I saw Boyd on that list, I'm high on him. Haven't heard much about him on TBD. Maybe it's where he is projected more than his skill set.

He's my favorite, and he was slipping down in the DraftTek Simulator, so I grabbed him at RD3#80: http://www.drafttek.com/2016-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round3.asp

The Bills scouts have been to Pitt a ton. I think they're high on him. He could also be their KR.

  8. Run-Blocking players (most likely drafted by Bills to least, but still notable run blockers)

    4. Avery Young RT---RD4#104---starting RT, likely OG in NFL, solid run blocker

    5. Ryan Malleck TE---RD7#246---inline blocker, competitive, creates movement in the run game

  9. Astro, what's your take on Victor Ochi DE/OLB Stony Brook?

He'll be drafted by Cleveland with one of their three picks RD5-6: 172-176.

I LOVED his get-off in the Shrine game. I guess he really impressed some scouts, and even sent Mayock back to look at his (and Hargrave's) tape. Hargrave did better on a re-watch, as he's in the RD3-4 range now. That had mostly to do with the quality of Hargrave's competition compared to Ochi.

Ochi has long arms, so he could do something with that. He's short (6'1"), and would need to spend time on a PS to acclimate to the play level of the NFL.

  10. I think there are some reaches and not filling by BPA. It seems more of positional need. And if we are looking for a returner I'd rather go a CB or RB that can return and get a bigger body capable of slot position to play WR.

At 6'4", WR Boehringer returned kicks in Germany. I think he's a steal.

Are you thinking Whaley's history shows he doesn't reach?

  11. paxton lynch qb

    kenny clark dt

    joshua perry olb

    germain ifedi rt

    eric striker old

    blake martinez ilb

    mehdi abdesmad de

    hasson ridgeway dt

    glenn gronkowski ilb?

    giorgio newberry de

Abdesmad was the DE that O'Leary clocked. He was out for 1 1/4 years. That would be interesting!

    RD1-26 Kevin Dodd DE43 Clemson

RD2-49 Kyler Fackrell OLB34 Utah State

RD3-80 Javon Hargrave South Carolina St DT34

    RD3T-90 Cardale Jones QB

    RD4-117 Jayron Kearse SS Clemson

    RD4 -124 Yannick Ngakoue Maryland OLB34

    RD4T-139 Sheldon Day DT34

    RD5-156 Bralon Addison WR-PR-KR Oregon

    RD6-215 Moritz Boehringer WR Germany

    RD6-218 Thomas Duarte TE UCLA

At first glance, it looks like you took 2 OLB's, but I could see Fackrell being the WILB and Ngakoue the rushbacker. Sweet!

  13. Take him lower. Ahhh yes! I was pleased with some of the pieces (Ifedi, Boehringer) that did fall. Again I was sorta just going by positional need for bit too. I do like what youre throwing down in your tagline.

    Thanks again for the game.

I am liking some of these drafts. I can't wait for it all to start.

I will dance a jig if Buffalo trades down, as I trust that our deep-draft capability is pretty skilled.

just no pleasing you is there

    I suggest bran.

  14.

    Elandon Roberts (Write In)

I didn't see Roberts on the draft tek boards at all (maybe I missed him)

Bad fit for what the Bills want to do. He's not good in drop coverage. He's smaller than you'd like (5'11"). He tackles too low. He has one year of production.

    How about Priority UDFA?
