I'm so proud of my fellow fans. I've waited years for this moment. No one circles the liquor store like the Buffalo Bills.

Josh Allen is so good he’ll be playing left handed when the new stadium opens!
Yea, I noticed that, maybe that UCL injury is more serious that we thought!

Would absolutely love Smith-Njigba on this team. Perfect fit IMO. He could fall to the Bills - or close enough to go get - because he’s looked at as a “slot only WR”.
No for obvious reasons, see avatar!

Check again the only thing he set a record for was fastest 40 for a player over 225 lbs.
The only thing he was best at his own combine was most bench presses.
He had the 30th 20 yard shuttle and 27th 3 cone drill which called into question his agility along with a neck injury in college.
He wasnt the can't miss prospect you are smugly declaring him to be.
Wow, he really needs to work on his celebratory ball spinning skills!

I think he’s going to be the new Stephon Gilmore. He’ll be up for defensive MVP if he goes to a team with a good DL.
...and a good defensive coordinator!

This is just a hot take.
What happened the last time the Chiefs were in the SB? Bucs D held them to 9 points and smashed them.
You can’t make wild declarations off one game and say that is the best way. Pats record breaking undefeated offense scored 19 points and lost to Giants. Broncos broke all offensive records shortly after and got smashed by Seahawks 42-8 in the Super Bowl.
3 of the top 5 offenses all time lost bad in the Super Bowl and averaged 13 points per game.
That being said…FRAZIER is so weak, that I agree, save the money and spend it all on offense. Not because of this Super Bowl, but because it doesn’t matter how good the defense is, Frazier is gonna lay down in the playoffs regardless. So spend all our money on the OL and weapons for Josh.
Spot on Alphadawg7!

he’s one of the toughest calls. The modern league is essentially build an offense and a pass rush and then be opportunistic on the back end.edmunds does a lot well but he’s not ending many drives with turnovers, sacks, or broken up passes. He doesn’t set an emotional tenor for those around him. He seems fine at getting the defender set but never hear exceptional stories of hot reads and audibles. At some point you can’t pay guys simply for being very good at ILB on a mature roster. He’s got to be the identity not the role player. I have a hard time seeing him cross that threshold.
Edmunts has great physicak skills, he's big, fast and strong., unfortunately he has poor football instincts..., or is it Frazier's scheme, or is it both?!

I could care less what our defensive ranking or DVOA is in the regular season. Josh playing Superman gets us in the playoffs. Frazier and his weak predictable zone with zero pass rush gets us booted. Sure we can barely squeak by a weak 1st round opponent with a garbage qb ( Colts, NE, Mia.) because again Josh plays Superman with little offensive support. But when divisionals roll around its soft zone, no pass rush and adios. You'd think the McF apologists would've seen this movie before.
Yup Ground Hog Day for Bills defense in the playoffs. If Frazier stays, invest in the offense and just outscore our opponents!!!

I guess if you want to compare eras this is probably correct given how there wasn't a consistently elite team besides us in the AFC at the time throughout that four year stretch. Miami was always cute though. We'll call the Giants game our 13 seconds and the Redskins/Cowboys the Chiefs/Bengals.
There's plenty of differences obviously but the most glaring one is Allen is 26 while Kelly was 33 (two weeks away from 34) when we lost the last Super Bowl.
Another obvious difference was Kelly had a pretty solid offensive line protecting him back then. They had to be good, Kelly was pocket passer and not boot legging QB.
Give Allen a solid O line with a half decent running game and watch what happens despite where the D is right now!

You know I would love to try and pry Brian Griese from the 49ers the job he did getting Brock Purdy ready is one of the real underrated stories of the year. Give him Josh and I think he’d be in heaven
Griese is possibly considering a return to Michigan.

This x 100! Our coaches suck donkey huevos. How many colossal coaching mistakes can a single team make in one season? The Bills shattered that record this year only a few month removed from making one of the biggest mistakes in the history of football, 13 seconds! We’re going nowhere with this coaching staff.
Why is Leslie Frazier still our DC?!

Leslie was on record before the game as saying he didn’t want to change up too much, even though the Bengals were driving at will that Monday night, because he didn’t want to overthink things. Doesn’t matter what the Ravens did to slow down Joe B, Frazier was going to trot his 4-2-5 nickel defense out there like always and play his scheme. The same scheme that ALWAYS comes up small in the playoffs and gives up north of 30 pts.
Bengals scored 27 but they weren’t pressed to do much more because their defense has clamps on the Bills offense. If it was a shootout the Bengals easily would’ve put 40+ pts on the scoreboard.

2 years ago Mahomes and Hill was restructured to get an offensive line. it worked out well for them.
I would argue scheme has put Edmunds in bad situations. Last game, the middle of the field was open ALL GAME LONG. That is not on tre if he is schemed to go elsewhere.
This would be on Frazier.

I'm already worried about 2023.
The Bills have $100m plus per year tied up in Josh, Diggs, Miller and Tre. That seems like a winning formula. The Bills brass have embraced the idea that the NFL is a passing league and so acquired a high-end QB, WR, pass-rushing DE and DB.
But putting all your eggs in four baskets has its risks. Josh played hurt for part of the season. Tre missed most of the season and didn't play at his previous elite level when he did return. Miller missed most of the season to include the playoffs. And Diggs bromance with Josh seems to be fading. With all that going on, we limped through much of the schedule and got destroyed in our final playoff game.
And with so much money devoted to just four players, the Bills have the third fewest off-season resources according to PFF:
So how do we fix our secondary this offseason? Or our DL? Or, most importantly, our Offensive Line. We have the best QB we've had since Kelly. Maybe the best Bills QB ever. But we don't bother to protect him. It's not smart football. And I'm not sure we can fix it.
Your ideas?
