  1. nope...if he were successful he'd be playing, at Green Bay orhere. Do you think the coaching staff were so impressed with TE and Fitz that they wouldn't have put him in if they thought he could play?

Brohm was brought in very late in the season and it should be no wonder why he didnt play more. However, the most popular player on any losing team, or the Eagles, will always be the backup QB.

  2. Giant N-bomb! Are you kidding me, I suppose you are one of those people who thinks it's ok to use that word if someone acts in a certain manner that is black, you know, the logic that there are two types.. That is disgusting in this day and age to use that term period.

As for Brohm, he is far from the answer!!! He was a practice squad player for a reason. Green Bay had Favre and now Rogers. I feel confident that GB can evaluate QB's. He wasn't good enough to beat out Flynn. There is a reason no other team made a move to get him and a reason why he went back to the bench when Fitzpatrick was able to walk, he is not an NFL QB yet. There are tons of QB's that played well in college and projected well and did not pan out. His stock dropped in the draft because he had a bad senior year without Petrino, maybe he was a product of Petrino's system.

It's is easy to say Vick is an utterly terrible QB and all he can do is run. When he was in game shape he made a lot of plays in a very tough division and willed the Falcons to a lot of wins. I wouldn't be against bringing Thigpen and Vick in to compete n for the starters job.

Thigpen and Vick huh? Spoken like a giant P-bomb.

  3. I am getting so sick of all this dog business, it has to stop!!! Are you a !@#$ing vegetarian?? Millions of Chicken's are slaughtered weekly, where is the remorse for them? They sit in a pen their whole lives being stuffed with hormones and then get their heads chopped off. But my god! Vick killed some dogs, and I own a dog! I'm never gonna let this stand He's a terrible human blah blah blah, what a crock of ****. Just get over it, he served his time let it be.

I don't believe the issue at hand has anything to do with ones eating habits, but rather the sense of right, wrong and everyday sanity. When's the last time you met someone who beat dogs to death, electrocuted dogs or drowned them. Hunters don't do that, sick people do. It's just not a healthy mind. He served his time, so he's good there and paid his judicial debt, but that has no bearing on the court of public opinion.

  4. you do realize that marty shottenheimer's 'mediocre' winning percentage is 61.1% as compared to Chan Gaileys 'abysmal' 56.3%...that equates to Marty winning 3/4 of a game per season more..... completely unacceptable

theres something to be said for sustained winning. d. jauron went 13-3....

who knows what gailey can do, i think THAT is the point. i think we, as fans, wanted a big hug and reassurance that "everything s gonna be ok" and what we got are more questions. its that sense of not knowing that i no longer find intriguing, now its just frustrating.

  5. So pretend that Marty is coming in as the next HC. Do you feel good about that hire? Or only slightly better than with Gailey? I'm not sure he's that much of an upgrade over Gailey. He has a winning record, but that was accumulated mostly in the 80's and 90's. He's also another retread who runs a boring offense.

You've just married a slightly ugly woman (or man). Would you have sex with a different ugly woman (or man) just because she wanted to? Wait, don't answer that...

So Schotty wanted to get back to coaching and didn't get a shot in Buffalo. Big deal.

i completely disagree that his offenses are boring. they scored those touchdown thingies...man, i remember when we did that.

  6. what if it isn't...stop speculating........

this is a message board, the land of speculation. this thread is based speculation that source told a blogger (and a fine one at that) that a retired coach wanted the bills job.....complete speculation! the sheer probability (yes, probability), that financial reasons kept one of the finest head coaches out of the running to lead the team we all so hold dear, is worthy of such speculation.

  7. i am glad that ralph is thinking for himself and not listening to fans....ralph has forgotten more about football than any of us will ever know, collectively...if he was uncomfortable with Schottenheimer, then that is good enough for me....its been 3 years since he was a coach anywhere...has to be a reason for that....

what if his "comfort" is his pocket book? i dont know about you but the idea of marty, possibly along with brian schottenheimer, sounds fantastic.

  8. Fewell's just lucky the other two coordinators on the team were a guy with almost no coaching experience and April. Cause if there's anything Ralph hates more than black people, it's people named after months.

thats messed up man. you must be a presumptuous dbag. look, now everyones assuming!
