  1. Forgive me if this has already been discussed elsewhere. . .

but in the Amazon halftime show, it seems like Fitzmagic gave a muted criticism of Dorsey, both the goal line call and running the bootleg (he had banged up his shoulder and it's the wrong call). "Let's take those nakeds out of the game" is the direct quote.

This should be brought up to McDermott.

    Fitzmagic for coordinator??

I feel like a lot of people here who are ragging on the Bills’ struggles don’t watch enough of the rest of the NFL.  There’s a LOT of bad football being played right now.

The attitude of fans (fanatics) is fanatical. It's 11 elite athletes competing against 11 elite athletes, all trying to destroy each other. It's not always going to go smooth for Buffalo, for Philly, for Miami, or SF. I will take ugly wins all day long.

Right if it's a win might as well just call it perfect, guess if they just lose by 1 that means he'd have been almost perfect? 😭

I see your point, but I just feel like he's playing strategically. Game is too brutal to put the pedal to the metal for 17 weeks. If you can play it safe, and eat some bad plays, you're gonna still win . . . then that's the best long term strategy. Better than going balls to the walls with hair on fire every series . . .

and apparently people will say he played perfect in games where he played at best exceedingly average.

I would only ask if Mahomes' goal is to look good or to win the game? Who cares if he looks good? If it's a win, it's close enough to perfect.

His mindset is probably that all his Super Bowl rings look good on his hand . . . If he doesn't play hero ball, if he doesn't try to pad for fantasy football stats, Chiefs are probably gonna have home-field advantage again.

From that POV, Mahomes is close enough to being perfect in this game.

I actually dislike the Chiefs more than the Patriots.  Never thought I'd dislike a team as much as the Pats.

    Feels weird, but good.

So, you dislike the fans of the teams who are having the most success at the moment. Got it.

  6. Dude will end up with ten SB rings, go down as the best of all time (dethroning Brady), and people will still point to the minor mistakes he makes is games he's won. Sure, have fun with that.

A pick and at least 1 more taken away by yet another flag, I'm not sure perfect is the word.

  7. For many fans winning is not enough. It's only good if your team destroys, humiliates or murders the other side.

Mahomes has played an almost perfect game. A win is a win is a win. He's not putting his teammates in a position to get injured in a game that is not in question against a radically inferior opponent.

Absolutely bonkers catch for a TD and Al called it like it was a run up the middle for 1 yard.

    What a catch.

Maybe he's not buying the 15 yard penalty on a 100% clean hit.  They needed help to get those points. The fix is in . . .

  9. 2 points IMHO

1: KC is giving about 75% effort. There's no need to put the pedal to the metal. Why beat them out 50-0? When 18-0 counts the same? It's smart. Why go all out? Denver does not stand a chance against them.

2: Russell Wilson is Trent Edwards level bad.

I think this game is perfectly predictable. The Bears are a bad team with a bad coach.

In the pre-game show on NFL network, Steve Smith Sr. was talking about how BADLY coached Jack Del Rio secondaries tend to be .  . . . . very frank.  It seems he knows what he's talking about.

  11. I don't know who this guy is. But he has low IQ, low EQ, and a low football IQ. It amazes me how many "journalists" who cover the sport have absolutely have no feel for the game at all. My wife's opinion (she doesn't know anything about the game) is more interesting than what this hack is spewing out on his Twitter.

These hacks broadcast their opinions which are totally wrong, and then have no awareness of their own fecklessness and point the fingers at others.

Edit referring to that other tweet by that guy "Sal." Sorry I don't know how to use this software very well.
