  1. Anyone think that Rex is setting up Belicheck for the 2nd meeting/playoffs?

Seriously, I understand how whacky this sounds, so no need to say it, and I'm not necessarily saying I'm considering this as a possibility. But did this thought cross anyone else's mind?

A week 2 win against Bill and Co. while showing your hand and throwing the kitchen sink in an all out effort to win isn't so great if you lose the 2nd meeting and/or playoffs.

Could Rex be going with the long con?

The only reason this thought even entered my head was because playing the DB's off the WR's all game when NE was throwing 95% short passes legitimately makes zero sense, even to people like us.

And I'm not suggesting Rex intentionally threw the game, just that he tried something different/played vanilla/tried to lull Belicheck into a false sense of having the upper hand going forward. We still almost came back and won.

Rex was busy running his mouth when he should have been getting his team ready to play the Pats. Rex isn't smart enough to beat Bellichek - and neither are most other coaches. Rex was touted as a defensive genius. That's PR BS. Rex was a d-bag when he was with the jets and he's still a d-bag, and I wish he'd get his hands off my team and hit the road.

  2. They were booing the whole damn team, coaches players and management who have let the fans sit in that stadium for nearly 15 years while the team gets its sorry ass kicked from one end of the field to the other. They were booing because it's the start of another season, and it looks like another year of frustration and embarrassment over a lousy record. And they were booing themselves for being such chumps and actually believing once again that the Bills might start showing some talent and stop being a football joke.

  3. It's a high price, but I'm glad the Bills did it. The conservative, plodding one-piece-at-a-time approach is not getting it done, a lot like a Ryan Fitzpatrick offense. This move is the Bills stretching the field, their deep ball. They're gambling that Sammy Watkins can bring a fire to the team that's been missing. They've got the weapons, it's now up to the coaches to make it happen.

  4. That is crap i've been to games in freezing cold when we were 2-14 bought a lot of merch, watch the entire comeback game when I was being heckled and could have left, hope to god Bledsoe was for real hope to god Flutie was the answer hope to god JP was the answer hoped to god Trent was the answer and finally believed it was the injuries last year that hurt us well it wasn't it was this team with no QB leader this team that looked like it was preseason sorry if that hurts the faithful

I don't get your point. You have paid your dues as a Bills fan. Are you still a fan? Could you quit being a fan if you wanted to? If you can't, then that's my point. I think we're on the same page.

  5. This one's easy: Halftime @ the Stadium during 51-3 1st AFC Championship win. It was 41-3 and EVERYBODY was beside themselves with rapture!! We're going to the Super Bowl!!!!!!

I gotta agree, Chandler. It was a magical day. The weather, the mood of the whole country with Desert Storm and all and the Bills giving Schroeder and company a huge beatdown. An unbelievable feeling to know we were finally going to the big one.
