1. Ladies and Gentlemen, step right up.

You say we sucked at our draft? You say we were an embarrassment? You say you could have done better? You say you see all and know all?

    WelllemmetellyawhatI'mgonnado.

For the next few hours, and for the first time ever in the storied history of the "Dinner's On Me, Smartass" Contest, I will allow all participants to change their picks based on what they saw happen at the draft.

I only have a couple of simple requests: If you edit your picks, please do so in your original post and please add a color-coded comment (use red please) to comment specifically what your changes were so we can reflect back on them as the season progresses.

This thread will be closed again at noon PST.

Remember; tell us what you changed and why.

In case you are also opening this up for those who missed out the first time around, here are my picks:

    Sep 10 @New England - LOSS

    Sep 17 @Miami - LOSS

    Sep 24 N.Y. Jets - WIN

    Oct 1 Minnesota - LOSS

    Oct 8 @Chicago - LOSS

    Oct 15 @Detroit - WIN

Oct 22 New England - LOSS

Nov 5 Green Bay - WIN

    Nov 12 @Indianapolis - LOSS

    Nov 19 @Houston - LOSS

    Nov 26 Jacksonville - LOSS

Dec 3 San Diego - LOSS

    Dec 10 @N.Y. Jets - WIN

    Dec 17 Miami - WIN

    Dec 24 Tennessee - WIN

    Dec 31 @Baltimore - LOSS

  2. what about RB's who seem to decline after 5 years or so?  They are most productive in the beginning.  Same can be said for many CB's.

    617265

You could fill their contract with incentive bonus's. If they excell, they get more money.

It could work for RB's, might be a little harder to CB's.

    GO BILLS 2006!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Hear, hear.  Please add Palmer into that mix.  If you ask me, Logan was probably one of the worst villains of the season.  His incompetence could have been as consequential as any of the actions of the terrorists.

    343217

Theoretcially, Palmer could become President again, seeing as he only served one term.

    GO BILLS 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I totally agree.  We should be very thankful that this show is getting the ratings necessary to continue.  One of my other favorite shows is Scrubs, which also has excellent writing and acting...a very sharp and fresh show.  Unfortunately, it's only going to be a midseason replacement for NBC next season as it's only rated in 30's/40's.

    340434

When did you hear this about "Scrubs"? It is one of my favorite shows as well, and one of the best shows besides "The West Wing", that NBC has on it's schedule. I can't believe they are holding it until mid-season for the next season.

If FOX and ABC do the same thing with "24" and "Alias" again, there won't be anything good to watch next Fall except "Lost" and the NFL.

    GO BILLS 2005 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Amen to that!!

What famous person can he says it looks like though?  Something along the lines of that Mary Grilled cheese auction  :D

One could argue that is somewhat resembles the state of Arkansas.

  6. Are you new to this country or something?  Obviously you should file a multi million dollar lawsuit against Frito Lay.  I'm sure this experience has left you emotionally shattered.

Well, my fingers had this orange color to them after I picked it up.

    GO BILLS 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I purchased a single serving bag of Cheetos for a snack this morning and as I was eating them, I pulled out a large clump of the cheese like substance that is used to flavor these things. It is about the size of a remote car starter.

    Should I:

    1. Contact Frito Lay and tell them I want my $0.30 back?

    2. Crumble it up and sprinkle it over some popcorn?

    3. Send it to Nervous Guy and have him analyze it in his lab?

    4. Wait until tomorrow and ask Alaska Darin for FAT?

    Thanks for your advice.

    GO BILLS 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. For some odd reason,,,,the Bills brass (i think it's mainly Ralph)...feel that it's not in the Buffalo Bills tradition to have the team Logo on the jersey.  That's fine if you're the Colts, Chiefs, Bears, Raiders or Green bay...since those jersey's have been exactly the same for like 50 years.  If you're the Bills and you bust out new jersey's, they need to have a logo or at least the word BILLS in block letters under the neckline.   I don't live in WNY and I have people ask me all the time if I'm wearing a Patriots jersey?!? ugh!

    335570

Amen Brother! I would like to see a charging buffalo somewhere on the jersey, preferably on the shoulders or sleeves.

    GO BILLS 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. I am a Financial Aid Counselor at a community college. I find time to visit in between telling students that.

    1. Their parents make too much money for them to eligible for a federal grant.

    2. The Fed government requires them to provide their parents income information.

    3. They are no longer eligible for financial aid becuase they hae either attempted 120 credit hours and have earned a 2 year degree yet or they have only finished 6 out of 24 credit hours during the past two semesters.

    GO Bills 2005 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. I do my own. As others have said, it is nice to get outside after working in an office all week long.

The most time consuming projects are preparing the vegetable garden and doing clean up each Fall and Spring. The rest is just weekly maitenance and small landscaping projects.

    GO BILLS 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  11. All right, I had a problem with a couple of things with this episode. Most notably, Jack tells the couple the code to open the briefcase as a way of slowing down the terrorists. However it seems that if he hadn't told them to the code to open the football, the terrorists wouldn't have been able to obtain the codes so quickly in the first place.

    Oh well...

    302340

I agree, the smart thing to do would have been to disable the locator beacon, carry the thing 500 yards in any direction and then bury it under a pile of rocks.

Last nights episode was really testing my suspendion of disbelief.

    GO BILLS 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. If that was the same episode I saw a month or so ago, she also said that Buffalo has a great football team.  And if there weren't enough reasons to love her already!

    297213

I find Rachel Ray to be a little too "peppy" and it can get annoying after a while. I like watching "Good Eats" with Alton Brown primarily for the entertainment value. The best way to descide this show is Julia Child meets Mr. Wizard, with a good dose of David Letterman and Monty Python type of humor.

    GO BILLS 2005 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
