just because people attach value on certain action or belief doesnt mean its morally relative.. its not like there is one right food, but there is a distinction between food and poison, same with ethics and morality...

im curious , what is your moral compass? i already explained that without god u can have moral objectives when based on happiness and suffering.. im also curious as to whether or not u r a christian? go bills!

i know because all i can experiene is my experience....duh again it could be illusory but not until someone proves that this experience is fake... again even if it was fake what would that even mean? illusory or not, its still real in the sense (U R HAVING AN EXPERIENCE, U R THINKING)

you can have good moral tenets like turn other cheek without believing in fairy tales... u dont need delusion in order to have good morals... the main doctrine of OT christianity isnt even debatable. its atrocious... some parts in the nt are good but that with any other book too. some parts are bad and some are good. bottom line christianity says non-believers will go to hell... its not a good premise, its disturbing man

look we have a problem of communication here, religion is not all the same , its a word like sports. there hundreds of different sports.. same with religion... within christianity if u dont accept christ rising from the dead then u go to burn forever, hardly a doctrine of happiness dude... i sent u a personal message.

i forget to mention jesus supported slavery too...

an atheists ethics come from the foundation of happiness and suffering... moving away from suffering and towards happiness... this is off topic but do u think life starts at conception? lets find out what morality really means here...

it could be illusory, but what would that even mean, exactly what is reality apart from reality? im on firm ground accpeting reality, this is why i dont jump off buildings as if this was the matrix..

the consequentalist can simply say happiness breeds happiness or good is good by itself, for example when we argue that compassion is conducive towards happiness and this is a foundation towards more happiness. this is a moral objective now in light of happiness being the goal or foundaiton... it wraps around on itself..

moral relativism is saying whatever god says, ( whatever that means) is right.... might is not always right...

when an atheist say life is full of meaning, yes that is subjective. emotional well being and not murdering people are both positve attributes towards society... this has nothing to do with relativism and has everything to with what mental health is and why we value sanity.... (we already know what it means to be sane without believing in the preposterous)... this is not moral relativism....

here i make it simple for u,, what is ur evidence for god, what is god? are u a christian?

our experience is real and it is in human nature to move our experience in the direction of happiness or well being and move away from suffering... i dont know if its objective but it certainly lines up with what we would call common sense dealing with how we want our world to be , ie stealing is wrong.

again morality can be explained in evolutionary terms, it is a benefit for our species to help one another so we can survive...
