Dream scenario - did this on firstpick.com

    9) trade back with green bay and get there 2nd(44)

    12) trade back with giants get there 2nd (37)

    17) Josh Allen- yes he was there if not maybe burns/greedy..all other top 5 DT were gone.

23)TJ Hockenson - trades giants second(35) and our 3rd to move up

40)tillery DT - this is where we get out DT

44)N.Harry WR - from green bay trade

    4th) Justice Hill - RB

    4th) Isaiah Prince - OT

    5th) M.Edwards - FS/CB

    5th) C.Slayton - DE

    6th) K.Hodge - OLB/ILB

    7th) Landis Durham- DE

    7th) Sean Krepstz - OG/OT

The DT that the team desperately needs would have been there if you hadn't kept trading back. Quality over quantity. Neither guy in this scenario will be there @# picks 17 & 23.

I question the math that grades this a B+:

Your score is: 30252 (GRADE: B+)
    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15 (WASH): Devin White, ILB/OLB, LSU (A)
Round 2 Pick 8: Jeffery Simmons, DT, Miss. State (A)
Round 2 Pick 13 (ATL): Dalton Risner, OT/OG, Kansas St. (A)
Round 2 Pick 14 (WASH): Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa St. (A)
Round 3 Pick 10: Lonnie Johnson, CB, Kentucky (A-)
Round 3 Pick 19 (PITT): Devin Singletary, RB, FAU (A)
Round 4 Pick 10: Jachai Polite, DE, Florida (A+)
Round 4 Pick 20 (PITT): Dru Samia, OG, Oklahoma (A)
Round 4 Pick 29: Ross Pierschbacher, OG, Alabama (A+)
    Round 5 Pick 9: Lamont Gaillard, C, Georgia (A)
Round 5 Pick 20: Drew Sample, TE, Washington (A+)
Round 6 Pick 8: Stanley Morgan Jr, WR, Nebraska (A+)
Round 6 Pick 19 (PITT): Cameron Smith, ILB, USC (A)
Round 7 Pick 11: Will Harris, FS/SS, Boston College (A+)
Round 7 Pick 14: Blessuan Austin, CB, Rutgers (A)

I did another draft for the Raiders in which the Bills moved up to #4 by trading #9, #40, & #74... then took OT Andre Dillard.  Maybe the AI thinks Whaley's still in charge.

How many rookies going to make the team ?

Devin White will probably be gone...I would not hesitate to take him. Reminds me of Patrick Willis. I would find somewhere to put him.

You'd put him in the middle because he is far better than the one we have now. Edmunds is better suited for the edge in the future IMO Further, if you have a very, very bad front seven, it's hard to justify a TE. in Round 1.

Why should the bar be outrageously high for a TE at #9...as opposed to say, a T or a G where the bar would be....well, who knows what it would be.

No rookie TE has had the season you describe since, what, Ditka?

Anyway....this would be a bold (well maybe not even very bold) pick in a position of need.  Do IT!  Come on McD---start clapping those hands for HOCK!!

    Importance of the position.

This team will only be successful if Josh Allen is successful.  Hockenson does that more than a DT

if we can't stop the other team then Allen will be on the sidelines.

They aren’t keeping 10 OL. I’m going to say that Boettger and Felciano get cut (or they don’t draft any OL).

    OL as I see it:

    Dawkins-Spain-Morse-Long-Nsekhe

    Swing OT: Waddle

Depth interior: Teller (with Long going to center)

8th guy: Felciano or a draft pick

    Jawann Taylor

There is pretty much no chance that the Bills go OL at 9.

Oline depth is no waste, IMO

Just saying that I thing we can get a better player than Long, in a late round pick or priority free agent. I'm no expert but my son has coached tight ends and RB's in the ACC--> and knows I'm a Bills die hard and say teams sour on him real quick for good reason. But I've been on record as saying until we have a good set of OLinemen, nothing else matters. So I'm with you there

I think what the Spain signing does, is end the possibility of moving Dawkins to LG.  Spain is the LG and Morse is Center.  So it is either Dawkins or Nsekhe at LT.  I think they leave Dawkins at LT and hope he improves playing with better talent.  That leaves Nsekhe to compete with Waddle at RT, with the loser being the swing tackle.

I see RG as being a competition between Teller and Feliciano- with Long being the interior line super sub.

Oline with certainly be the most interesting unit to watch take shape this offseason into the preseason.

with the 20/20 hindsight. the signing of a bad player, Spencer Long, was a waste of resources.

At 9 I want BPA.  This will most likely be a defensive player.

I want the Bills to move up and get back into the 1st or add a 2nd in round 2.  I would like to see more quality, less quantity this year.  3 picks in first 2 rounds is the goal.

I think Beane is more interested in quality over quantity. I would rather have 7 draft picks that are solid than accumulate even more picks (we currently have 10) by passing on better talent.

IMO Beane and his team seem to know what they are doing-lots of draft experts didn't like the Allen pick last year-it looks good now-I also like how Beane has publicly stated that drafting for need is stupid-which it is.

Really ? I would rather be in the Dolphins situation and Tank for Tua. Accuracy, Accuracy, Accuracy.... but who needs accuracy when you can score high on the wonderlic.

Guys, I know this is a lost cause, but there is already a thread that is quite large specifically for posting mock drafts. Do we really need new threads every time someone decides to do a mock draft?

I really hope Jawaan Taylor is still on the board at #9 and the Texans really, really love him and trade up. They have the 23rd, 55th and 56th picks in the Draft. Trade value says it matches up.

Imagine coming away with the following in the first two days of the Draft

    1. Jerry Tillery-DL Notre Dame

    2. Dru Samia-G Oklahoma

    2. Justin Layne-CB Michigan St

    2. Kahale Warring-TE San Diego St

    3. Maxx Crosby-DE Eastern Michigan

I can see why they have interest in him.

Thank God for the mute button. But he is in the right colors. I heard he didn't do well at the Senior Bowl. Played in a weak conference for O-Line (CUSA) But looks explosive

I think that was Simmons. But yes the NFL is full of it.

Fergusons ban is even dumber. A simple battery at a McDonalds or something.

Did he ask for a special order @ McDonalds ?
