  1. Well if the Bills finish with between 0-4 wins, how many wins will the following teams have that all have less talent on their roster than the Bills have:

    Raiders

    Rams

    Chiefs

    Lions

    Broncos

    Browns

    Bucs

    Jaguars

    Seahawks

    Bengals

    Dolphins

    Jets

    49ers

Yes, I included the Dolphins, who for all their wins, had and have a less talented roster top to bottom than the Bills do(guess its pretty obvious where the problem is)...

I am sure all of these teams will make the playoffs according to DiCesare's logic...or illogic as it stands

The Bills have average talent in many positions - especially at quarterback which is a huge problem. The biggest problem however, is the talent at head coach. Bum Phillips once said, refering to Don Shula " he can take his'n and beat your'n and then take your'n and beat his'n". Well Dick Jauron can "take his'n and lose to your'n and then take your'n and lose to his'n." Believe me, DiCeasare is not far off.

  2. Florio is really starting to reach with his anti-Bills and anti-TO stories. I don't usually buy into the idea that the "media hates Buffalo" crap, but Florio and PFT is getting to that point.

"Whether it was a Freudian slip or merely an awkward choice of words, the back end of that quote implies a realization by Edwards that, sooner or later, he's going to have to deal with Owens calling him gay or calling him out for getting tired or complaining that Edwards is throwing too many passes to other players or giving the quarterback a hard time in some new way."

Florio's site is an entertainment site, not a sports site. As such, he will slant every story and crack wise to suit his needs.

As much fun as Pro Football is, it's not interesting enough to provide all day entertainment every day, unless you do what he does - insinuate, speculate, wisecrack and sometimes just make stuff up. He definitely has his favorites and non-favorites, and unlike a real sports reporter, he lets all his biases show.

  3. You guys are stuck in your traditional ways....

I love this. Brilliant move, imo. Thats makes the draft even more marketable. Also it helps out teams because teams are able to reset their draft boards and draft smarter. I guarantee you everyone involved in the NFL loves this. Don't you guys ever get tired sitting around watching the draft all day? Sure its exciting, but at the same time its lengthy. The 1st round will be super exciting especially since its in primetime. At the end of the night the teams will regroup and target their now "2nd day prospects". The 2nd and 3rd round will be just as exciting as the 1st round since teams will have an improved draft board. 4th-7th round will be just like it is on Sunday except with more viewers...

I really don't understand you guys' beef with this new format. I think its perfect. I've always felt that the 1st round should have its own day and be in primetime. You guys will really enjoy this new way, just watch...

Pitta, Pitta, Pitta..don't you get it ? Traditional draft parties on Saturday are screwed under this new system. We've had a draft day party for the past 15 years on Saturday - knowing that no one had work on the following day. The party brought in friends from around the country. Now that's gone with "the wind" - or should I say the "money grab". Just another example of the NFL screwing it's fan base.

  4. And this is based on that commercial where he's dreaming I suppose?

The greatest basketball player ever tried to switch professions to baseball and never made it even in triple-A. Just because someone is a great athlete in their sport doesn't mean the skills transfer at all. You have no idea if LeBron could deliver and take consistent NFL hits. You have no idea if he has the heart to catch balls in traffic or if he would avoid being buried in the pile. You also have no idea if he could memorize a playbook and read offenses and defenses.

I vote Bo. He was amazing and though it happened in Rich Stadium in one of the best parties to ever take place in Buffalo, I wish he'd not been hurt.

Bo was hurt the previous week, not in Buffalo. He does however, get my vote for best pro athlete. Deion was

a horrific tackler and an average, at best, baseball player. Bo excelled in both sports.

  5. Chris Brown Reports from OTAs:

"Veterans Kirk Chambers and Seth McKinney continue to hold down the starting roles at the two guard positions on the offensive line. Rookies Andy Levitre and Eric Wood are still being rotated in however, a good portion of the time. "

For those of you who think our Offensive line will be upgraded this year...here is a newsflash....These guys aren't even getting starting reps.

And oh by the way...Chambers and McKinney (who are currently starting over the kids) did not even start over Fowler and Preston last year... THAT'S how far off these guys are.

    This is just sickening.

Are you really that ridiculously stupid ? Go move in with SKOOOBY, moron.

  6. He proved nothing in the 14 games he was there. On top of which, now he is hurt, further impairing his ability. Just because he was picked in the 2nd round doesn't mean he deserves to stay.

Should we have kept Erik Flowers because he was a 1st, how about Tavares Tillman - he was a 2nd. Bucky Brooks? Todd Collins? John Parella? People get too caught up with the fact that Hardy was a 2nd rounder. Getting drafted high doesn't mean you're good. It is more likely that you are good, but doesn't mean you are good.

FYI - John Parella became a solid starter for a very good San Diego team.

Ya know, it really ticks me off when a writer says stuff like this with such a negative attitude. Plus he doesn't know what he's talking about. First off, T.O. played in the Super Bowl with the Eagles hurt and had a great game, and then he goes on to say Drew Bledsoe is a Super Bowl champion. He lost the only Super Bowl he started, and was a back up when the Patriots played the Rams....

    What an negative bastard.

While he did get the Drew Bledsoe and T.O.'s super bowl facts wrong - he was pretty much on the mark with the rest...

  8. I thought the article was kind of funny. I mean come on, people waiting up on a sunday night to see TO come in. A grown man dressed up in a popcorn box. The one guy saying this is the best thing that has happened to buffalo since the invention of the chicken wing. Even Owens said he had no idea why he was getting the key to the city. It is a little over the top & it really does make us look like a city full of losers. Maybe we deserve to get mocked out after pulling crap like this. Like someone in a previous post said, "act like you have been there before".

Lighten up boys and girls -most of the crowd were actors hired for his reality show - which is also why the mayor gave him the key to the city - so he could have his 15 minutes of fame ( and maybe also get some votes)
