  1. What do you think of this Scenario:

    1. a) Clay Matthews OLB

    1. b) Alex Mack/ Eric Wood C/OG

    2.) Lawrence Sidbury Jr. DE

    3.) Chase Coffman TE

    I would love that draft.

Or if we go OT with the 11th Pick

    1a.) Oher/Smith

    1.b) Any USC linebacker/ Barwin

    2.) Lawrence Sidbury Jr.

    3.) Chase Coffman

Bills miss the playoffs. Jauron will get a new 4 year contract which will make him the highest paid HC in NFL history. The Bills will take advantage of the uncapped FA by signing Ex-bill Tim Anderson to an 8 year 120 million dollar contract.

  3. TBH, if we traded down, I would rather spent the pick on an OLB rather than a DT. This is how I look at it mathematically:

Any USC linebacker over Ellison= good upgrade from the start, and an even better uprgrade down the line. Ellison is a 70 overall, any of the USC linebackers (Maualuga, Cushing, Mathews) is 78-84 overall right from the start.

Peria Jerry over Kyle Williams= no difference from the start (Probably a negative start). Down the line Peria Jerry will be a good player, but as of right now, he wont be anything better than Kyle Williams. Look at Glen Dorsey from last year. Dorsey was a lot better of a prospect than Jerry, but Dorsey was shut down last year. DT have a tough time translating to the NFL. Kyle Williams, in my book is a solid 80 overall. He does his job well, and is far from spectacular. Peria would be a 75 overall from the start.

However, if Raji is there at 11, we should take him. I believe he will be the best player from this draft in 5 years. The guys is a monster, and can do everything you want in a DT. BJ, probably an 83 from the start, but will be a top DT in the league.

  4. I'd hate Matthews as our pick. He is the 3rd best LB on his college team. That doesn't excite me at all.

USC had probably one of the best LB core in 2008, ever. All of them WILL be a first round pick. Many believe Matthews is the best out of the three. I would want Matthews over Cushing any day of the week.

  5. Other than Pettigrew, the next 4 TE have ? on their blocking. Ingram, Nelson, Cook, and Coffman all are not a good blockers. However, I would want Coffman over all of them. I could see Coffman lasting to the 4th just because he was injured for the Combine and his pro day. This is a deep class at TE this year. James Casey is the second best blocker at TE. IMO, I think we will nab one of those TE's listed.

  6. These are my scenarios:

    Everette Brown>Orakpo

    Orakpo>all other DE's

    Orakpo > Crabtree

    Orakpo > Pettigrew

Orakpo > LT (only if Peters is still a Bill)

    Crabtree > Pettigrew

I would only take Crabtree if Peters is still a Bill, and basically all of our needs are off the board. Crabtree is too much of a luxury pick.

  7. Clinton McDonald, DT, Memphis- You've probably seen my thread on him. Perfect fit for our D, along with strength, speed, production. He was a team captain twice, and he is a class act.

Roger Allen, OG, Missouri Western St.- Very small school talent. He is very strong and aggressive. We should take a risk on him in the later rounds. Scott Wright's Scouting Report on Roger Allen

Captain Munnerlyn, CB, South Carolina- Intriguing prospect because some regarded him as a top 10 CB in the NCAA before his ankle injury. In my one Draft magazine he is rated as a third round prospect, however he is not even listed in my other Draft mag. Scott Wright's Scouting Report on Captain Munnerlyn

Jason Williams, OLB, Western Illinois- Workout warrior that could fill the role of LOLB. He has great speed and strength. He wasn't invited to the but he proved he should have been because of his Pro day. Ran a 4.42, 26 reps, and had a 39' vert. He has great production with a record tying 14 FF in his career. He also had 15.0 sacks his last 3 years. Article on Jason Williams

Chase Coffman, TE, Missouri- Yeah, I know he isn't a sleeper, but he is great talent that could be around in the third round. Watch his video in my sig. You wont be disappointed, trust me. The guy is a playmaker.

  8. My wife is out of town for the weekend so I have time on my hands. Too do my thing. So I sat down and looked at 50 mock drafts. The following is what I found other fans from around the league think we will do in the draft.

    Everette Brown 16

    Aaron Maybin 13

    Robert Ayers 5

    Brandon Pettigrew 4

    Andre Smith 4

    Brian Orkpo 2

    Micheal Oher 2

    Ray Maualuga 1

    Evander Hood 1

    Tyler Jaskson 1

    Brian Cushing 1

I guess there is not alot of surprises in this info. But I spent the time to look at them I enjoyed it I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Cool, good work. EB is one of my favorite guys in the draft. He is IMO, the best pass rusher in the draft, and can get us sacks. BTW, its Tyson Jackson, not Tyler Jackson. Good job, that must have taken awhile to complete.
