Jonathan stupar? TE I believe
-
Not sure how I feel about this
He is a defensive coach that was never able to build a good defense in Detroit
Had some real good ones in Tennessee

Schwartz has been in the playoffs more in the past years than Petine
You are very wrong on this.

For anyone to think Thad should start over EJ is insane. He played poorly in Miami and average at best against Cincy. The only difference and what some fans are judging him on is that he hit a few deep balls. He can't hit the intermediate over the middle routes. Struggles mightily throwing slants. EJ is the clear starter. I think Thad can be a quality back up but the have him start conversation is crazy talk IMO.

I think we need to go 3-1 over the next 4. To me we need to beat the Jets and Steelers and split with the Saints/Chiefs. If by some fluke we win the next 2, you have to go 4-0 heading into the bye. If your are 7-4 going into the bye week you have a serious chance at the division title. The next 2 weeks are the most important weeks the Bills have had since they lost to Pittsburgh in the season finale about 10 years ago.

Anyone that really understands football knows there's more to a play than the play call. Execution is much more important.
Example is on third down in ot, the play call was a slant. It was great but didn't work because the pass wasn't where it needed to be, or the execution failed.
Early in the game when people were bitching about a particular run, it wasn't the run call that was bad but Fred's missed cut back.
Another example is how the guy 3 seats down from me was bitching about no play calls to the middle of the field. It turns out there were open receivers in the middle of the field that Thad missed. Play calls are half the battle.
I'm just not a blame the play call guy. I think Hackett is doing well with the what he has had to work with and being 6 games in.

After reading the other thread maybe I stand semi corrected. AP returned to practice today. He was in SD all week. IMO if he didn't care he wouldn't have been there.
Torrey Smith lost his brother and played, had a career game. Brett Favre lost his Father I believe and had a career game. It's an outlet for these guys. My Grandfather died and I went golfing, does that make me a dick who doesn't care? Everyone has their own way of dealing with pain I guess.
I certainly won't be one to question someone's relationship or emotions of losing a child. It may hurt more if he wasn't close, because of regret. WE will never know.
Very sad story. I just say leave AP alone if he'd like a break for 3 hours on Sunday and wants to play football his call.

Turns out he really didn't know the kid much at all. He should go ahead and play.
Where did you hear that? Earlier in the day it was said he was very close to his son. They have pictures of him at training camp even. It's BS for you to have this attitude that he didn't care about his kid. Just a stupid comment to make.

I have gone on the field 4 times now in the 4 years I have had club seats. Every year I just email my rep and ask if there is a shot at getting down around May/June, they always say we will see it will probably be tough and it always works out. My ticket rep has been pretty awesome this year, and has sent me the training camp tickets with food vouchers, hooked me up with an extra CJ Spiller bobble head during that give away when mine was broken among other things. I intend on sending him a Christmas card to thank him for his service with a gift card.
I know a lot of people B word about the Bills and sometimes their ticket reps but my guy goes out of his way to help any time I need it.

Keys to the game are,
1. Scott Chandler needs to be effective early so Cleveland safeties cannot be up on the line of scrimmage. This will open holes in the running game.
2. Mike Williams and Marcel Dareus need to put consistent pressure up the middle as Cleveland uses a west coast offense which uses 3 step drops.
3. Special Teams needs to come up with a big play, kickoff or punt return or recover a fumble.
4. EJ needs to target the WR not covered by Hadden, either Woods or Johnson.
5.Avoid self destruction, penalties and turnovers.
Really, what are the chances that the Browns win three strait games with a journeyman QB? The Browns have given up 17 sacks this year already, look for that total to rise. Nobody circles the wagons likes the Buffalo Bills.
Kyle?

its not as easy as "bring pressure and Hoyer will suck" - Cleveland has a good o-line and mcgahee is a terrific blocking back - we need the dline to win their 1 on 1s in order to get to Hoyer...keep kiko roving the middle, and jam cameron at the line.....hopefully mckelvin plays
we need to be able to run the ball tonight, and in order to do that, we need to get clevelands from 7 out of the box on every 1st and 2nd down (throw early!!!!!!!) - and use their aggressiveness against them, could we finally see the return of our screen game? god I hope so....
On ProFootball Outsiders they rank Cleveland 26th in pass blocking http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol having given up 17 sacks. They allow a sack on average about 1 in every 10 or 11 drop backs... I wouldn't say that's great.
I think it will be a tough game and low scoring but I don't think Cleveland's offense is the part to worry about.

I don't understand why they don't just paint the helmets? Isn't this what ND does before every game?
-
Coughlin just chose not to. I have a feeling that will hurt them
-
Pretty sure it was the Dolphins
Your right it was... Thanks

I remember seeing this on Hard Knocks one year. I remember there was a player who was pissed about something and they decided to put something similar together.

Judge rules charges to be dropped if he stays out of trouble for six months.

It seems like more and more people are subscribing to the NFL Rewind. Thought it would be cool to have a thread for each weeks opponent. I haven't watched the entire game or focused on much yet since coaches film just came out today but the most glaring thing I saw was the Panthers Right Guard really struggled.
I attached a few examples of him getting beat (not always to end the play) but I think this could be an opportunity for Dareus to step up big.
Will post more throughout the week. I encourage others to try the All 22 as well. It's fun to see what's going
On and see areas we might be able to exploit.

I notice there D line gets upfield fast. This might be a good week for a few middle screens to CJ or Freddie. The stopped Lynch on a couple outside screens but if we can get a back to the middle there should be room.

Can't believe I'm actually seeing Hernandez jerseys what a joke
-
And with our luck, Mallet will be the next Aaron Rodgers
Also, does anyone else think BB will retire when Brady does?
CBF
I've always said I expect them to retire at the same time.

31-23 pats. I think we have a chance. If we hold Pats under 20 we win, but that's a huge if.

It was said earlier legurski won't be put on it and does not need surgery.

PSA: Scam e-mail (Bills related) (update: not a scam)

You may want to call your ticket rep. That is the Bills ticketing departments domain. They may actually need information from you. That is also what they are doing this year instead of Bills Bucks. I don't believe that is a scam email.
