Well, they did hire a guy with an ipod and speakers for the halftime "show." What other NFL franchise has a DJ for a halftime show? They suck at everything, even halftime.

Cant argue with that. That's the issue. We keep changing coaches and GMs thinking any of it will matter without having a competent QB.
This coach and GM thought entering the season with Nate Peterman and Allen at the helms of a team with arguably the worst line and wr core in the league was a good idea. Maybe they should have built the offense first.

So in other words you have no thoughts on the matter.
No, I think he meant, he doesn't get paid to fix the problems, but at least we know Beane's screen name now, have a good night Brandon.

What bothers me is that the defense has been molded by McBeane with free agent signings and high draft picks across the board at the expense of the o-line and wr's. Despite this, the D has been putrid in 4 out 7 games.
-
Beane hates Whaley. That just about wipes out Whaley's draft classes. Heads up Nick O'Leary, Shaq, and John Miller(who is about to get cut for tomato can Vlad). Jonathon Williams looked really good. Beane couldn't get a pick at the very least? The back up to Shady is Joe Banyard? WTF?

Preston Brown
J Williams
S. Henderson
So with the correction and the above I think that is 11 not counting this years rookies. That is not a good track record...
Doug Whaley has 8 draft picks still on the roster, pathetic

Not me.
Universal Standing for the aanthem never started in the NFL until 2009.
So did you still support the 90s teams when they did other things instead if standing
This is just false

Not dressed the 1st 2 preseason games, dressed and didn't start for the 3rd preseason game.He wasn't replaced as the starter in early 2016. He was recovering from surgery and not dressed.

Stand or sit for the anthem, Kaepernick used it as an alibi to mask his hurt ego and feelings. Now after leaving the Niners, his fight is over, coincidentally he also is looking for a job and may feel dropping his protest helps his chances of being signed. He is a phony at best.
-
I always found it interesting that the first game Kaepernick didnt standt coincided with the first game he was replaced as the starter.
-
The flag is a tribute. Not the Anthem
Your opinion
-
You can yell and scream during a moment of silence too, but no one does it out of respect for the deceased. I think of the anthem as the same type of tribute those who fought. The deceased didn't make the policies.

Need proof for me to believe, season ticket holder since 1978, anthem has always been played and fans stood. I cannot imagine no one noticed this if it is true

I laugh for those that think Ragland is going to help KC this year
I hope not, I get he didn't fit the 4-3, but ACL's take time, to think the Ragland you see now, won't get better seems myopic.
-
I just hope he doesn't make KC any better. We need them to lose a lot this season.
McBeane gave them a player to help them this year, thus making our pick from them worse. I expect Willie "Mays" Hayes and Roger Dorn to be added to the roster any minute.
-
None of the current decision makers had anything to do with that pick, or that trade up...
And a LOT of people feel what made the Bills look dumb was to give up two 4th round picks to trade up for a 2-down, 3-4, ILB...Then they switch back to the 4-3 and he's not really a fit at all...
To boot, that same ILB is coming off a major knee injury and was not going to play...Nothing against Ragland...it was to be expected he would not be back to full speed for a while...
How is this dumb again?...
They are devoid of talent and didn't get anything in return that can help them this year.
-
Seems appropriate, a team that is thin with talent, trading for a player that could potentially help them 2 years from now. Maybe the hidden meaning behind "It starts with one" is McBeane will trade every current player until he has one, probably Steven Hauschka.

First thank you for your service. This is excellent information.
I'm going to try one more time to clarify then I'll let it go. I believe 100% in discipline and accountability and every single thing you say in your post.
Sending him home is something totally different than accountability. It's public embarrassment. That's next level stuff. It's the ultimate FU in this particular situation - because he can't be cut/traded and can't quit.
It's way beyond smart and strong when every major NFL outlet including the bottom ticker on every sports channel I've been to today is showing it. This goes beyond structure and there's some players that won't be behind such a public lashing - when there's money involved and the ability to protest is real.
Are we sure this is his first infraction? My guess is it wasn't.
-
Thank you for clearing that up. I am glad to hear that his History of Lateness, a rather minor error of judgement (particularly given when that lateness is to an exhibition game), is the sole reason for concern regarding a young man who was guaranteed $60 million starting last year. I feel a lot better.
But Rex lost control of the team and didn't hold anyone accountable. The fact is of the 90 man roster, 89 were on time, and 1 prima donna with a history of being late wasn't. Do you think Belicheck would care who was late?
-
Wasn't it Dareus that was suspended for parts of the last two games of the Marrone Era for being late? Not much growing upo has occured since then.
-
Because he sucks as a QB. I don't care he is a great guy, works hard, comes in first, leaves last blah blah blah. Bottom line, he isn't a good QB. He is nothing more than "Rudy". Loveable guy you want to root for, but just isn't good.
Way past time to get a Real QB in here. BTW this is TT's 7th year? Goff is just starting his 2nd and can all ready do this...
Let's not annolnt Goff as the 2nd coming yet. Even though it was his rookie year, he was pretty bad last year. Maybe he should look where he is throwing it, 7 picks in 5 games.
-
If I remember correctly, Kaep didn't take his first knee during the anthem until after he lost his starting job at QB. I'm not calling his actions disingenuous to his cause but it does seem a bit coincidental.
It also took Kaep a day to explain his reasoning, I've thought this all along.
-
I agree, zero interest in this year and although ill be at every home game, I'll be quietly hoping for trades and losses.
And please spare me the you aren't a real fan garbage...
Same here, unforunatlely as this lost season passes and the draft picks loom, two huge components, Williams and Shady, will be getting older and closer to needing replacement also.
-
He's going to fight for human rights, but is abandoning the longest suffering fanbase. Probably see him ringing the Wall Street bell tomorrow.
-
Translation. I'm not buying into Beane's and McDermott's bull ****.
Sinking ship
Who's the worst team in the league now ?
