I think the worst case scenerio is he's suspended all of 2009. I wouldn't put it past Goodell to be tired of players using handguns and really make an example out of Lynch, especially fresh off the Plaxico Burress debacle.
The Bills would be foolish not to address the running back spot in free agency or the draft. And if Lynch's suspension is for the year, the Bills won't have to pay him and I believe he wouldn't count against the cap. Now is not the time to be cheap.

Just rechecked the thread, and it was posted Friday. I haven't heard anything on the news, nor nobody sending me texts busting my chops about it. Not sure how much truth there is to this.

If I'm not mistaken, Carr has re-sgined with the Giants.........anybody know if Jeff George is looking to make another comeback? Why not end his career in the same stadium he started at? The Rogers Centre.....er the Ralph.

I don't remember Reich playing for the Jets. Was he the backup to Vinny?
He was O'Donnell's backup......he actually started a game against the Bills at the Ralph in 96. I was there. He wore #7 after Boomer left.

Cowher made it to the Superbowl with QB's like Bubby Brister and Neal Freaking O'Donnell.
Despite having QB's that didn't belong in the NFL he consistently made it to the playoffs. Yeah, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
Actually, his qbs that year were Neil O'Donnell, Kordell Stewart and Mike Tomczak....they also had the untested rookie quarterback Jim Miller on their roster, yes that very Jim Miller that was the starting quarterback for the 13-3 2001 Chicago Bears coached by none other than Dick Jauron. Wow this is starting to come full circle.
