  1. Hi There,

    Four Bills fans are heading to Minnieapolis for the game this weekend.  I was curious to know if there were any Bills Backers in the area or good bars to go to on Saturday night.

    Wouldn't mind tailgating with Bills fans on Sunday, if there are any takers.  We are staying at a hotel within walking distance of stadium.

    Based on how the Bills are playing, we need to have as MUCH fun as possible BEFORE the game... because I am pretty depressed about what I see during the game.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Go Bills.

  2. I have to be honest, I have never liked the Wildcat. Seems like a waste if you don't at least throw occasionally. If you really plan to run... take Tyrod out and put in an extra blocker.

    That being said...

    Can someone provide an intelligent theory behind why this wildcat play is advantageous to a regular running play?

  3. My Brother, having nothing better to do, started a thread with his friends that created the following list that rated the BILLS QB's from Best to Worst.

    In Buffalo’s 55 years of existence, there have been 3 franchise QB’s, 3 good QB’s, 2 average QB’s, and 19 QB’s that suck.

    1. ==== Franchise QBs ====

    2. Jim Kelly

    3. Joe Ferguson

    4. Jack Kemp

    5. ==== Good QBs ====

    6. Doug Flutie

    7. Tyrod Taylor

    8. Frank Reich

    9. ==== Average QBs ====

    10. Drew Bledsoe

    11. Ryan Fitzpatrick

    12. ==== QBs that Suck ====

    13. Kyle Orton

    14. Dennis Shaw

    15. Daryl Lamonica

    16. Trent Edwards

    17. Thad Lewis

    18. Rob Johnson

    19. Kelly Holcomb

    20. Bruce Matheson

    21. Dan Manucci

    22. Ed Ruthkowski

    23. Vince Ferragamo

    24. Alex Van Pelt

    25. EJ Manuel

    26. JP Losman

    27. Todd Collins

    28. Gary Marangi

    29. Brian Brohm

    30. Billy Joe Holbert

    31. Jeff Tuel

    We are interested in hearing any comments...

  4. Let me get this straight...

    You bring in Percy Harvin... dubious character

    You bring in Richie Incognito... dubious character

    You bring in Shady McCoy... dubious character (considering his racist remarks)

    You bring in Rex Ryan... blow-hard

    You release Fred Jackson... heart and soul of the team...

    And you think adding cry-baby Mallett as being bad for the team? Really??!!!!!

    We are already way down that road. What's one more...

  5. The issues with Whaley involve:

    1) The Current QB situation... Never adequately addressed in 2014, and did the same thing in 2015.

    2) The RB Situation... Bungled situation at RB including the release of Jackson.

    3) Has jeopardized the future of the Bills with paying a fortune for a front-four defensive line that can be easily game-planned against.

    Have the coaches helped his case? Certainly not...

    Do you need more reasons?

  6. If motivation made good QB's, I would be a quarterback. EJ has had plenty of reasons to be motivated since arriving in Buffalo. Expect the same from EJ that you have seen in the past, and nothing more.

    Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results - Albert Einstein

  7. 1) If Tyrod doesn't make it as a QB, he can be a receiver. A heck of a catch at the 2 yard line.

    2) Anyone else concerned that Gilmore's pick at the end of the game would be ruled unnecessary roughness. He hit the receiver pretty hard.

    3) Missing the running back checkdown passes that help subdue the rush a little bit... This, among other things, is where we really miss Fred Jackson.

    4) Go Bills!!!

  8. Fred has been proving everyone wrong about him since high school. You would have thought the Bills would have learned that by now. Both on and off the field, Freddy has gone above and beyond all expectations. It is amazing how quickly people forget.

    He continues to do that now. Even in his limited role so far in Seattle, his numbers have been good and seemed to have an extra quickness to his step. He was hurt last week when some huge lineman fell on the back of his leg. And he still MIGHT play this weekend.... As McCoy and Williams sit on our bench, watch Freddy and be enlightened.

  9. Do all you guys criticizing fans for being upset because Fred "wasn't that good" understand WHY people like him? They don't like him because he was born with Bo Jackson's ridiculous power/speed combo or Barry Sanders elusiveness. He wasn't an amazing athlete that dazzled fans with his talent. That wasn't the attraction.

    They love him because he's an everyman who made himself into a guy who competed with and won jobs from guys who were brought in to be better. To take his job. For years the Bills were infatuated with drafting RBs high in the draft. They kept brining in first round guys and Jackson kept sending them packing. How? Hard work, perseverance, determination. Every ounce of his being was put into making himself a better player than the high profile picks. He became a back who could, literally, do it all. He rounded out his game in a way that superstar guys rarely do.

    What Fred Jackson did transcends sports, he became a guy every human being could look at and admire because he's who we all aspire to be. He made himself the best he could possibly be. He couldn't compete with any of those guys athletically, but he did everything else in his power to hold onto his dream of being an NFL running back.

    If you don't admire a guy like Fred and root for him no matter the jersey then you're not a human being I'd care to know.

    Most intelligent response I've read in a long time in this Bills Forum. Thank You.
