  1. he looks like a jp losman to me... mobile, and looks especially mobile against people who aren't top tier athletes... throw's the ball on target, but I don't see a long ball, I don't see him fitting it into tight windows. I bet his stock climbs at the combine when people see he can actually make all the throws... oh and i might add, the people catching balls in the video made it look easy.

staring down his receivers could mean the death to him... atleast in the NFL. One great quality though, he looks as though he's quite adequate at checking it down lol

  2. ummm if there is any position the bills actually know how to draft, its DB, so yea you might as well leave revis out of the equation because we have starters across the league that were drafted by us. Everyone thinks revis is amazing, yes he can cover, he works especially well against tall WR because of his speed. He is a talent, but I think buffalo has had a plethora of serviceable, and athletic corners come to town. Besides, we could have drafted the next bruce smith, it's not like our coaching staff would have known how to use him anyways

  3. This guy is a complete idiot, if someone decided to pay me millions of dollars to play a game - I'd be ready to sign, give blood, fingerprint, whatever it was to start getting paid.

He has a body of work to evaluate, but he will be out of the game for an entire year. It's not like he will be practicing with elite corners for a year, getting stonger in the weight room, all the while learning an offensive system. No way he goes in the top 10 in next years draft, he was good in college, but now he's proven that he is just a work in progress.

They really need a rookie salary cap in football, its rediculous when rookies can come in and make millions but have no impact whatsoever.

  4. We have given up over 660 yards passing thus far. That's second worse in the league. This was a position were supposed to be deep at. Our pass rush looks a little better than last year so I'm not sure why the Bills are struggling in this area and with the Saints passing attack it's a concern. It just seems like our corners give up to many yards to the recievers coming off the LOS.

its simple... the Bills haven't used any press coverage, and have given up everything underneath. Its DJ's defense of choice, play smart football and don't give up any big plays.

You have to think they will disrupt the WR routes somehow vs the saints, because Drew Brees isn't likely to be fooled by a 4 man rush (whether its disguised or not). We should be fine, I think it may look bad, but we'll come out with a win. All we have to do is play sound football, and don't make any mistakes. The saints have crushed opponents because they have given them short fields.

  5. Personally I think Steve Johnson is keeping Steve Johnson on the bench. The best players plays period.

I'm no coach, but I'm pretty sure mr obvious nailed it on the button...

Parrish has talent and ability, but never developed any rapport with Trent... On plays he is targeted, I haven't seen him run an amazing route where he beat the coverage either... Steve Johnson is a technician, the guy can play, and he has great footwork. Do I think he has the home run ability of Parrish? not a chance, parrish is one in a few thousand... but I have a lot more faith in Stevie's ability to be an open target more than parrish's.

  6. I could not believe how Fewell was bringing near jailbreak blitzes at the Bucs for most of the 4th quarter...they just kept coming and coming and coming. Yeah Leftwich made a few plays against them, but the majority of the time he either missed his receivers or completed something short. Really encouraging to see Fewell perhaps realizing that sitting back in prevent isn't gonna help anything except the other team scoring...

Perhaps he got all jacked up seeing what the Jets did to the Pats earlier in the day...

I don't think he's called anything different from last year, I think it has to do with playing with a lead... Bigger the lead, the more relentless he lets the defense play. When the game is close, or they don't have faith in the offense, I think they get a bit to conservative.

  7. I can also remember when he was getting burned on every play he was in the slot back in his younger years... Buffalo has a knack for finding and developing great corners it seems - so kudos to them, cause he is playing like a monster

  8. they play a flippin' sport for a living, and doing so making millions of dollars in a small amount of time. I risk my life for a living, and they restrict me from how many beers I can drink on an off night... People look up to me because I'm in the military, but I'm almost 100% positive sports stars have many more followers than me - its a privilege to play professional sports - if someone was smoking pot near me and I inhaled and trace amounts appeared on my drug test, I'd be fired on spot and there would be no second chances. I understand the nature of my job is to protect lives, and well they just play a game, but they have to be held to some kind of standard because of the money they make and position they hold in society.

  9. Buffalo is great for school... I attended high school there, went to college there, but had to move because there just weren't any entry level positions in my career field. Now I'm in the air force, I manage over a billion dollars worth of assets, and every bone in my body wants to come back. I have lived in 7 different cities, San Antonio, St Louis, Cleveland, London, Chicago, New York, but Buffalo just has so much. London has been my closest home away from home, as they mirror a lot of the festivals Buffalo has (i.e. The taste of Buffalo, The Allentown Art Festival, etc) its just on a much larger scale. I was home in buffalo on vacation last year for about 2 months, and I loved just being in Buffalo - eating at Edritos, Just Pizza, going to the strip on chippewa, Watching the Sabres and Bills, The not so lovely waterfront was peaceful, my family close, I was just loving it. On the other hand, finding the right spot to meet singles in there late 20's/early 30's will be hard - but they are there. Maybe because I have so many memories, I hold it so dear to me, but from what I realize outside of Buffalo- its very hard to find a community that is so rich in culture, food, and the arts. Forget what the polls say and find out for yourself, if you have the chance to travel and see some other areas you might like find out for yourself if you want to commit to Buffalo, because once you're there it is so hard to leave

  10. CIN drafted one - Chase Coffman, bum foot and all.

With all the hate bombs tossed Royal's way the past seasons, they might miss his blocking, especially with this proposed rookie-laden musical chairs OL. And I'm sure their opposition would love to see BUF try to be heavy on a no-huddle offense. I think that talk is just a marketing move to induce people to pony up for advance tix.

    We shall see.

from what the news reports - fine & schouman were both just as good at blocking as Royal was. They were drafted as blocking TE's, they certainly weren't brought in make an extreme impact in the passing game. Who cares about the no huddle? All we need is for Trent to make the right reads pre-snap on any given play, and our offense should go fine.

  11. Speed? Speed!? PLAYOFFS!?!

Your an idiot. You have obviously never been part of the "game behind the game" as those of us who have imagined it, call it. The tee shagger. The down marker turner. The Gatorade Hydration Specialist. The little people that make the game tick...

What we need at this position is SIZE, not speed. We need someone that can stride out there, lock eyes will Bill Belichick and let him know - not today my friend, not in our house. And also, you know, get the tee and bring it back to the bench. Once we lock that down WATCH OUT AFC EAST!

As for our FB, bring back Sam Gash in his prime or I don't care.

When we interviewed McIntrye last year and he said he was the "Bone crusher" - I assumed he was going to be a monster... Well he definetly ain't crushin bones like Sam Gash, he needs to rewind some tape and take notes! Unfortunately not everyone can be so selfless with their bodies. Gash was the first back to ever be named to the pro bowl without ever carrying the ball during the regular season, however he paid for it in 19 orthopedic operations on his ankles, wrists, knees and fingers. He was definately a nice pick up for the 8th round

  12. Why didn't we just suck it up and tried to go with Jackson as starter, and maybe Oman or someother cheap player as backup? It will only be for a max 3 games. I really wish we had just given Jackson a fair raise with the money that we spent on Rhodes.

Don't get me wrong, I like Rhodes, it's just that RB is already possibly our deepest position!

wow we're not even in the preseason and we already want to speculate that fast Freddy won't be the starter at the start of the season... let's just hope we didn't make rhodes an incredibly rich 3rd string running back
