  1. point is a loss to miami sunday and it pretty much is anyway. so why keep him? i think the players would respond positively to knowing theres a change of direction coming and that winning is what counts, versus hanging around the whole season with a lame duck loser coach.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume that.

Remember how Lee Evans confronted the coaches in the preseason? He's been a classy guy ever since he was drafted and doing something like that isn't exactly within his character. Maybe...just maybe...as much as the players have supported Jauron, they might be seeing these results far too often and be willing to accept a change

The aforementioned are very valid points, and I tend to agree. I also can say IF Ralph did have the gut to pull the plug on DJ. I would hope it wouldn't get worst. A new head coach could be the lift needed but like mentioned in other post we have been hit by the injury bug, so really how much could you squeeze out of a 1-3 team (at that point) that only win is against Tampa and you just lost to a winless team. Now don't get me wrong I'm not the doom and gloom sky is falling type. I bet Blo to win (with points) on the NO game (call me crazy!) I just feel something drastic have to happen to get this team moving -beginning with the HC but the reality is that it more than likely won't happen so we should prepare for another 7-9 6-10 season. I've been a Dj supporter but any HC that punt the ball away down 10 with 7 minutes to go and your defense in DIRE need of a blow is an idiot!!! :D

  2. Of course there is a good chance we lose to Miami, with this team, there is a good chance we lose to Cleveland too. Either way, Jauron isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Anyone that follows this team and their ownership, knows Ralph isn't going to pay Jauron $3 million a year to sit and home and pay someone else to coach the team. Look at the last time he got rid of a coach under contract, he tried everything he could to not pay him what he owed him (Wade Phillips).

:wallbash::D Though the above statement fustrates me to no end, it 1000% true! Anyway what would changing the coach do at this point in the season? We all know it would more than likely be Bobby April and though he's a great special teams coach I don't want him as a head coach. Anyway the bottom line is if we fire DJ this seasons is a wash. It would be too much turmoil IMO for players and chemistry and we'll be looking at another season without playoffs. The sad thing is that everything with this team had to align perfectly; the offensive line coming together, defense overachieving, etc. and thus far for many reasons mainly injuries that haven't happen.

  3. Look I'm not overly impressed with the Saints. Frankly I find it insulting to even compare them to the 2007 Patriots. I'm sure Fewell is more than happy to oblige the Saints offense worshiping that is going on so that when the Bills smack them down it just makes us look that much better.

Seriously Wawrow I hope this is your mentality too because I find it hard to believe that a !@#$ could look at the Saints and not think we have at least a 50% chance of exposing them as non-contenders. How could anyone buy into the freaking Saints to the extent necessary to pick them over your own favorite team? I mean at least with the Patriots it used to be reasonable....but I think I'll make the Saints beat me before I accept that they are one of the elite contenders in the league.

Very well put :censored:<_< I couldn't agree with you more GO FREAKIN BILLS!!!

  4. NEed a new MLB. LB's must be durible...POZ fails that test two broken arms in three years here...and the knee while at Penn State. I think he is brittle, and cannot be counted on to play year in and year out.

:) Can't agree more with the aforementioned post. I was thinking the same thing when he first went out with the injury and didn't return. All the talent in the world is worth ZILCh if you can't stay on the field. And for all the talent and upside the Poz has, he now should officially be labeled INJURY PRONED. This goes back to the Penn State days. What is the deal with this guys wrist/arms/forearms brittle bones!! I mean geez you make living wrapping people up and tackling them but your equipment is faulty! Like a pizza delivery man without a reliable car!!

  5. Reports are they want a starting WR and a draft pick next year. Give them Josh Reed, a punt/kick returner in Roscoe and a 3rd round pick next year. Marshall can then get Roscoe and Reed's salary. Marshall in the slot with T.O. and Lee on the outside, OOOH!

I would do that in a heartbeat it would be addition by subtraction, once TO is gone next year we'de be set for at reciever for the foreseeable future

  6. I read negative post after negative post with a few positives mixed in. It really seems like some of the people on here are actually rooting for the Bills to suck so Jauron can be canned and we can start this whole thing over again. It seems like a lot of people are assuming the Bills are going to suck when isn't that what everyone felt about Miami last year?

The Dolphins went 3-1 in the preseason last year... did everyone have them winning the Division? No... back then the preseason didn't mean shiiii... Now since the Bills are 0-3 its the end of the world.

The Patriots went 0-4 last preseason yet they were still the favorite to maybe go undefeated again and win the Super Bowl. There fans were all like OH $@#@ we are going to go 4-12 and pick 2nd in the draft.

If you truly are a Bills fan every year should bring new hope becuase you NEVER know what to expect. Every year 6 or so teams that made the playoffs the year before don't make it again. There is always that hope as a fan that your team might improve this year, or might get back to where they were last year. Keep being negative and say the Bills suck before the season it's fine, but why are you a Bills fan?

:flirt: Good post I read this forum everyday at least 10 times but I very very seldom reply to post but I have to say this place sounds like a b*tch fest on how much OUR team sucks!! I'm a realist and I've taken my lumps just like evry other poster on this board when it comes to the Bills. I like constructive criticism of OUR team and the some of the postive suggestions on how we can right the ship, but the DOOM and GLOOM is at a super high here. Which in conclusion I say I can't stay away, I can't become a fan of another team so I'll keep smoking the crack called the Bills until they right the ship. Some of the "fans" on this board makes me ashamed to admit it the way you bash the Bills, be it right or wrong but I can't just up and change teams now can I!!

  7. A (very upset) fan delivers a witty, cutting (if a bit over the top) bit of opinion and the result is predictable--the less tolerant dwellers start freaking, jumping about like the chimps in 2001-A Space Odyssey.

The high priests of WhoisarealBillsfan react as though he has crapped in their Holy Communion wafer bowl--which he has I guess.

Yes, by all means, a Bills fan site has absolutely no room for such bad men and their heresy.

Please reconsider, Pipe (the leaving part--not your post!).

Could not have said it better :w00t:

  8. Wow, New Paltz is the closest place to Poughkeepsie that has a backers club? I always had a tough time growing up there and being a Bills fan but I didn't know I was that rare...

If you're near Vassar, you might want to try Juliet Billiards... I don't remember if they have the ticket or not. Hoe Bowl (up on Taft Ave) I do know has it, but yeah, not exactly a great place to watch a game...

Juliet doesn't have Directv just local and their tv's if they even have more than one if I can remeber suck.. LOL

  9. Any one know of a good bar with Sunday Ticket to watch the game. I'm near Vassar college- the closer the better but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks TBD! and Let's go Buffalo!

There's a bar on Hooker and Cedar about 1 minute up the rode from Raymond ave they have the NFL ticket. I never been there though... If your not happy with that you can go to Hoe Bowl, it's a bowling alley but has a good size bar plenty of tv's. It's on Taft ave no more than 5 minutes from Vassar :)

  10. That's ridiculous. Greer, more than pretty much any CB i've seen here in Buffalo, is always in a position to make a play on the ball. If he were 3 inches bigger, he'd be a top 5 CB in this league.

I can't agree with you more! Short memories seem to be the case with some of us. We are all Bills fans but please give credit where it's due. Remeber Greer shutdown T.O. -something like 2 catches for 25yds last year and has been SOLID every since in spite of the height difference. Mike22nc your spot on, give him 3"s and he's a pro-bowler. Just seems like whenever there's someone in reserve that may be or has the potienal to be better then the person ahead of them some fan seem to think the guy starting is chopped liver. This is far from the case here. We have the luxury of being able to sit L Mckelvin so that's money in the bank for us, and believe me I'm sure it will be paying dividends sooner than later :(

  11. I think, for an interview, you should dress appropriately for the job you are seeking. Dressing in jeans for a job at a bank, is absurd. So is wearing a 3-piece suit to an interview for a stock position. Design candidates, in media almost never wear suits for interviews, nor do other "creative" types.

What is the proper dress for an NFL free agent interview? Dunno, to tell the truth. I certainly don't think a classic business suit should be expected. But, I didn't see what he wore, so maybe it was inappropriate, even by NFL player standards. But, style of dress does not = character, and I think the Bills FO is smart enough to know that.

Very well put, I couldn't agree more (style of dress does not = character) If he has the talent, combo that with the shock of his NFL career hanging by a thread and he could be a force at a postion that can use some help!

  12. I have no problem admitting I wanted to sign him at all. The guy has a lot of ability but just doesn't apply himself it seems. He'd be great in the Schouman-role as a move-around 2nd TE if was willing to work hard and learn the offense. Oh well......

I wouldn't mind seeing if he had anything else to contribute in that type of role myself. Maybe this (being cut) would motivate him. Only issue I have with the signing would be that it would take someone spot, and think we're just about set everywhere else, right? :flirt:
