Sounds like the apple does not fall far from the tree

Not that I necessarily believe a word of it, but I wouldn't draft either of Deion Sanders' kids, especially not Shedeur.  You're always *this* far away from Dad making headlines with an opinion about how the kid is being used or paid.  No thanks.

Wow such good value for $2.5 per year!

I'm glad he's back because it would have been a big blow to lose both Ty and Mack (Hollins).

Agreed, and if anyone had asked me which I would have preferred to keep, I would have said Ty Johnson all the way.  Love Mack and the way he stepped up last season, but if we had re-signed him we would have been paying for past performance rather than for the role we expect him to play in 2025, and that’s no way to run a franchise.

The pre-Walsh 49ers. Amazing how much we got in return tbh.

    No kidding.

We got the Niners' first-round pick in '79 which ended up being #1 overall.  We took Tom Cousineau out of Ohio State.  Ralph wouldn't pay him so he went to the CFL.  When he came back we traded his rights to the Browns for their first pick in '83... with which we took Jim Kelly.

We had to wait eight years for the return on the OJ deal, but boy was it worth it.

  5. The issue I have is he’s negotiating in public.

That’s his right, but what have the Bills and Beane done to make him do that?  Time and again they’ve proven they take care of the guys they want to keep.

If he truly wanted to stay here and be paid fairly, he’d tell his agent to get a deal done, and he’d shut up (and tell his loudmouth washed-up brother to shut up) until it was done.

He wants the entire bag and doesn’t particularly care where he gets it.  Again, that’s his right.  I have no hard feelings.  It’s a business.  But when people tell you who they are, believe them.

Athleticism is athleticism.. track athletes are great athletes.. wrestlers are great athletes... Baseball players are great athletes.. it's 100% harder to hit a major league fastball or curveball than it is the cover Randy Moss as a corner

Ask deion Sanders who did both.. ask Bo Jackson if it's harder to hit a major league curve or hit the a gap.. running the footballs easier

It's a different type of athleticism but to say baseball doesn't take athleticism or Tom Brady doesn't have it is asinine.. this past year 65 high School baseball players were drafted to the MLB

    550 from college

To be one of the top 65 high school players you have to be on a world-class level of everything in baseball.. the skill, the technique, and the work ethic and athleticism

Again athleticism doesn't equal 4.44 forty..  because athleticism comes in all weight shapes sizes and skills that's a fact

But you said he didn't have an ounce of athleticism... he had enough athleticism to be one of only 4 high School catchers drafted in the country when he was

43,000 high school starting catchers.. he was one of the best four that's insane skill talent athleticism work ethic

I agree with much of what you say but the draft was VERY different in Brady’s time.  There were like 50 rounds, more minor leagues, and LOTS more kids getting drafted out of high school as opposed to today when there are 20 rounds and only the very best HS players get drafted.

He can kick it long. But he outkicks his coverage and twice tonight he failed to pin the Eagles deep. Just boom into the end zone for a 30-yard net.  He sucked tonight.
