Great pick to go along with Sheppard in the middle they should make a good combo
-
Just curious what everyone thinks here, who is really running the show this weekend? Just with the picks so far my opinion is it doesn't seem like they are your typical Nix moves..
-
while I agree about Jordan, ill **** my pants and eat it (with my pizza) if hes still on the board
I'm just hoping that the run on O-linemen and D-linemen actually happens which could mean he slides to us but this may be just a major pipe dream

Personally I feel if Dion Jordan falls to 8 somehow the Bills should be running up to make the pick. This guy has all the talent to be a dominant pass rusher and had already proved himself to be a great coverage linebacker. If he is not there try and trade back to get more picks to fill all the holes and select Tyler Effiert with the trade back.

That's cool , just stay out of the AFC East !
Well if he is going for QB play and a team in need of a WR,there is a team in the east with a great QB that has unloaded just about all of the WR's. I would hate to see it happen but I would not be surprised at all if he ends up on the patriots.

Barkely is having another not very stellar game and personally I would not draft him with any pick. He looks just as bad as Sanchez was in college, and I would be very upset to have him as my future QB.
That's all just curious how many people still think he'd be worth drafting?

Honestly guys, I think Ralph is too old to really care about the football operations. Instead of being an owner to whom the top employees are accountable, I think he pushes that role to the front office, thereby creating an atmosphere where people keep their jobs a bit too long if underperforming. The Bills pay the price, but can you really blame him? There is more to life than involving yourself in the day-to-day operations of a football team, especially when you're as old as he is. Instead of calling his performance into question, we should wonder why he is adamant about keeping the team until his death. He should have already sold it to an owner who is involved enough to foster accountability within the organization, and I think Ralph may be past that stage.
Just to be clear, I could be 100% wrong about Ralph's current involvement, and my post is pure speculation. It's just the impression that I get.
I could be wrong but I believe I heard that he is going to keep the team until he dies for tax reasons for his daughters. If he sells it he would get taxed and his daughters would get taxed when he leaves all the money to them. Waiting for his death means they would only get taxed once on it.

Is there a reason Chan never went for a 2pt conversion after taking the lead?
-
From inside 40 I agree Lindell is money but unfortunately over 40yrds he tends to be very shaky. I guess I would rather just see 1 kicker on the team then 2. It just seems like a huge waist of a roster spot.
-
I know he kicked the game winner today, but if you would rather punt then attempt a 51 yard field goal why keep the kicker on your roster?
I say it's time to either get a new kicker or just give the job to Potter.

The NFL, which is the only sanctioning body that matters in this particular instance, agrees with me; not you. I find it peculiar that you claim to love the sport but have no compassion for the men who play it; or respect for the rules that govern it. Why is it so hard for you to come out and say that you get great enjoyment from watching other human beings suffer repeated blunt force head trauma?
So you don't watch football for enjoyment?? If you don't I do not see why you are on this website following a football team. Every single play there is some form of "head trauma" and every person who plays football knows it and willingly plays it. So if you watch football which no one forces you to do, you are supporting all the "human beings suffer repeated blunt force head trauma" that you claim is so wrong.

This hit just brings back memories of an old NFL films with Steve Tasker and how he would always be trying to get "Wooooo!!" hit haha
-
Best hit I have seen in a long time and looked perfectly clean to me. Can't stand that a player will be punished for this.

Wow this is probably one of the most depressing games I have ever seen. Just like every other year it appears, get your hopes up just to beat you down again!
-
Aaron Corp is awful. Mentioning him in the same sentence with Alex Van Pelt would be ridiculous. He got his shot at USC and failed miserably then transferred. Brady?
He never got a shot lol he started 1 college game for USC in which he never was announced the starter and didn't receive starting practice reps during the week. I'm still not saying he can be mentioned in the same league as Brady but he did go and play very well at Richmond when he transferred.
-
My top two picks if they Fall are Fleener and Hill, if Fleener is there in the 2nd for the Bills I do not see how you can pass on him.
-
Personally I think at this point he is a better tackle then both Rieff or Martin so I would not waste a first on them. The only linemen I would take in the first is DeCastro and then kick Levitre to LT as he is a pretty good LT and Hairston can then be used as the backup swing tackle.
-
I like Kuechly but I do not think he is the game changer that a Patrick Willis type linebacker is and to pick a linebacker that high he must be a game changer. And I believe Reiff is only ever going to be a great backup swing tackle or a starting guard. So with Floyd off the board the only option left to take is Gilmore. I would really try my best to trade back though if I could.
-
Just saw him make the proposal and I believe it would be much quicker. But the one thing I noticed is how much younger he looks with the beard
-
On paper it really appears as if Buffalo has the best D-line in the NFL now hopefully this will transition to the field!!!
With this no longer being a position of need I fully believe that we will grab Malcolm Floyd if he is available. If he is not I believe it will be Jonathan Martin as he actually played LT in college and that means a lot compared to Reiff who started every year at RT.
-
Haven't seen this anywhere else but what would you think about bringing in David Garrard?
He has a ton of starts made a pro bowl and is willing to come in as a backup. I think he would be a solid pickup and if Fitz went down a very capable starter.
-
Seeing as there is no real LT on the team right now I'd be extremely happy with Martin from Stanford but if we don't go tackle I'd love to see Floyd in a Bills jersey!!!!
-
I just have to say no longer will Moorman be the highest rated player in madden for the Bills!!!
-
I love that Buffalo is going after Super Mario and Meachem and might just cry if they were able to sign both of them.
With all that being said what happens to all this excitement if we don't get them? Does Nix become a failure again to the many nay sayers here?
Personally I think he is doing a good job and has finally given a clear plan for the Bills. So whether or not we get the big free agents I am still happy with what he's doing.
