There was never a doubt stupar was making the team this year. He's been at the top of the depth chart for weeks and is the best overall TE the bills have.
Way to clog the board with another non-story. What time are you starting the gameday thread for the saturday game? 4:45am?

Well, first of all it can't be Edwards. Trent's helmets has dents,scuffs,opposing teams colors scratched on the side.
Too many bars in the face mask to be a receiver or running back. Has to be a offensive, defensive linemen or linebacker.
This helmet seems awful clean to be an active player???

I was really impressed with Brohm when he played against the Colts. Of the three fighting for the starters job, I think Brohm looked like the most promising. He looked like he could offer the Bills the most, looked faster by a long ways than Edwards in his drop from the center, and the way he passes the ball, he makes all the throws with zip on the ball and they look effortless. I'd say he just needs to prove a mental grasp of the offense, of reading the defense, and an ability to be accurate, and there will be nothing keeping him out of the starters spot.
Edwards didn't look bad. He had the nice long pass and some other completions. I can't say he was bad, I just can't watch him yet and not think, "when is he going to have a brain fart and collapse on us like last year." If that doesn't happen, then he could be good for us.
Fitz didn't look as good to me in his time as Edwards and Brohm did this past week. I'd guess Gailey will want to see Brohm play more with the first team offense against first team defenses, and see Edwards more, too. If he's going to give Fitz any more time it will probably come more in the fourth preseason game.
So, I'm guessing Brohm gets his shot next week with the ones - maybe Edwards doesn't play the full half as starters usually do in the third preseason game.
I WISH Brohm could start w/ the ones this week but that won't happen

There is a LaQuinta right there also. It is one of the cleaner , nicer hotels in that area. Also , if you want to stay local and want some great wings and beer try the Buffalo Brew Pub right down the street. Enjoy !!

I've stayed at the Red Roof Inn off of Transit Road (it's not ON Transit) near the Thruway Exit. It's pretty basic, no bells and whistles, but its functional. Very close to the airport too.
I stayed there for last year's home opener and the Bills won, so of course I'm staying there again for this year's opener.

There's a Quality Inn right across the street but if you are looking for someplace inexpensive...
Niagara Falls Blvd has $20-$30 motels for tourists,etc... along the boulevard (15 minute drive from airport)
If you want to stay in close proximity - you would make a left on Genessee (where the airport is) and then take a left on Transit rd (about 1 mile down from airport) and theres a bunch of cheaper ones.

I have my own time frame with Maybin but yours may be different.
At some point YOU have to cut your losses and move on...........
Personally, I give him this season and perhaps one more preseason to drastically improve, after that, SEE YA!
I am all for patience, but we need more from a #1 draft pick.
There is no right or wrong answer with a time frame to cut ties, it depends on your patience level.

I give him until the last preseason of this year. If he does not outplay the other OLBs - then he simply becomes a backup. If a starting OLB gets injured - he needs to step to the plate.
I hope to god that Maybin wakes up in these next two games.

Conditioning is alot better this year than last year - I can tell you that. It's just unfortunate.

Kinda neat that McGee just spent a year matching up against T.O. in practice every week. --That has got to be worth somethimg.
Of course, that goes both ways.
Definitely a match-up worth checking out. Hopefully Lankster doesn't cover him :x
