It seems like there is no game where a team is expected to win anymore. For years we had the dominant forces of the patriots*, colts etc. but now it seems like everything is up for grabs. With the rams beating washington, the pats* proving they cant win without brady and the cards beating the cowgirls. The eagles have been struggling too and in the AFC east the dolphins even seemed to be rolling for a bit, but that didnt last long. Granted the Giants still have to play tomm and should prob win. Just wondering who, if anybody, you guys thought was a "contender and not a pretender" in the league now. (obviously not counting the bills!!!!

fair enough, Id LOVE to be able to pay for my education and not take loans. But when you are paying 15k a semester to work 60 hrs a week in a hospital it makes it a little hard to find time to work for actual money!

hmmm i have a crapload of money in school loans still building up....have no job and no money invested...im totally ok with the markets going to crap, maybe sallie mae will fold and ill get my medschool education for free!!....hey, if the bills get saved ill be ok with it...

Keep in mind that the Jets scored 56 points against the Cards we scored 17. Playoff were marginal at the start of the season and I think thats were we are now.
what!??!! cuz we lost one game?! man...if we were looking at another teams thread and seeing this being said after going 4-1 before a bye, we would be tearing them to shreds on TSW

I got rid of my seasons when i moved out of town for school 2 years ago. I make it home to get to 2-3 games a year. Ive only been able to score MNF tix so far this year though. The NYBrets game is one ill be home for and i really wanna go but on ebay and stubhub i cant find a seat ANYWHERE in the stadium for less than $110, unless you are buying single seats. Sorta sucks cuz i dont care who we are playing i just wannna go cuz ill b home. I think im gonan just try to scalp them the day of. Never scalped before tho, I always make sure i have them before i get home, anyone think id be able to get tickets for about 60 bucks each the day of? i dont care where i sit for the most part (i actually prefer the rock pile)

Parity is reality and no team is easy to beat. It is almost inevitable that there will be several ties for playoff positions.
The Bills are in a really bad position on tie breakers already. They are 2-0 against NFC opponents and will probably beat San Fran when they play them. That puts them at 3-0. This means if they win this week, they will end up losing just about any tie-breaking scenario as the NFC games count less. They might do ok within the division but if they are tied for a wild card or home field they are in big trouble. This sounds weird, but if you want the Bills to make the playoffs, you should root for them to lose this week.
whatttttt...if the patriots* have a record of 10-6 and we have a record of 11-5 are you trying to say that we'd lose because of the fact that we beat NFC teams? We wouldnt, as long as we win more games we are in a better position. By losing we get put into the situations of being concerned with tiebreakers. Why would a losing record ever fare better. Itd be one thing to say that we woudl RATHER lose a game to the NFC than a divisional opponent but saying that we want to lose so we can win a tie breaker makes no sense.

I want to watch but i cant... my heart still drops when i see that wide right occasionally on tv...and i always somehow think of it when any kicker in the league boots a field goal wide right...it hurts too much...

see im torn..im not gonna go regardless...but do we want it to succeed? I cant decide. I cant decide it i want it to succeed so that buffalo stays viable ( a logic that i dont really get tho, is a corporation from TOR all of a sudden gonan spend money on a box thats 2 hrs away??) or do i want it to fail miserably to show the nfl that toronto cant support the bills and they forever belong to us...either way they get not a cent from me...but i just felt like rambling

IF he gets twenty years, something is VERY WRONG with the judicial/legal system, or basicly the drug laws in general. Just my opinion, but I am sure there are bigger problems law enforcement can be looking into. Really, do we need a DEA????

please tell me you are kidding?!?...he should get fired because he doesnt jump up and down like a 4th grader and throw tantrums?! Riiiiiight cuz when our starting quarterback says that he tries to win games for the coach, the coach clearly is unemotional and useless
