‘If Covid infections can be controlled enough for the NFL to conclude its regular season, the league is considering moving the playoffs to a bubble format, similar to what Major League Baseball has done, with playoff games in four different, neutral-site cities. That would make sense for the NFL, particularly in a year in which games are played with few – or no – fans in the stands. If moving games to neutral cities is more expensive, it would be a wise investment in player safety.’
