Much as been made on Marshall Faulk’s versatility – he can run, catch and block – but who is he modelled on? Barry Sanders? Emmitt Smith? Nope – Thurman Thomas, who lead the league four years in a row and the reason why he will be in the Hall of Fame. The only thing he has not been able to copy is Thomas’s ability to get yards in the post-season.
