Two Bills Drive

‘Rhodes ran against the Buffalo Bills with an inner drive we thought only existed in Edgerrin James, the Colts’ star running back who grew up tossing watermelons onto the backs of trucks.’

‘The Colts included James in their weekend travel entourage, but were pretty sure he would spend his time at Ralph Wilson Stadium lounging on the sideline. They did not deactivate him until 90 minutes prior to kickoff.’

He struck for eight catches, a career-high 151 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s agonizing defeat at San Diego. He’s averaging 20.8 yards this season on 17 receptions, a flashback to when he was a feared big-play threat at the University of Tennessee.’

‘The Bills are 0-3 at The Ralph and have lost five straight there since last year.

Tops can’t mention that their commercials star Buffalo Bills players or have them wear anything with a Bills’ logo because Wegmans’ is the official supermarket of the Bills…However, Tops can sign up individual players…’.

‘The Colts might be coming off a 35-28 victory over Kansas City, but the win didn’t hide all of their blemishes. Their defence, ranked among the worst in the league, has yet to hold an opponent under 23 points.’
