Two Bills Drive

‘Manning, who passed for 421 yards in Indianapolis’ 42-26 win over Buffalo earlier this season, didn’t come close to matching that dominating performance. Then again, he didn’t need to.’

‘It wasn’t as bad as last time, but it was still pretty bad for the Buffalo Bills.’

‘This Sunday before the Bills host the Indianapolis Colts, the team will honor two alumni with the Ralph C. Wilson Distinguished Service Award, as Kent Hull and Steve Tasker will be awarded for their outstanding service to the team in a special pre-game ceremony.’

"We didn’t play very well against them last time. Defensively we didn’t play well, and offensively we didn’t play well against them. We had 19 penalties, we killed ourselves, we’ve got to play better, and I think we’ll improve offensively. He struck for eight catches, a career-high 151 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s agonizing defeat at San Diego. He’s averaging 20.8 yards this season on 17 receptions, a flashback to when he was a feared big-play threat at the University of Tennessee.’

‘The Bills are 0-3 at The Ralph and have lost five straight there since last year.

‘Jerry Ostroski may return to action today, and if he does, the offensive line will get a boost. With that boost, it must give Johnson protection so he has a chance to peck away at the Colts.’
