RB William Green (Boston College) is expected to be one of the first running backs drafted in this year's draft on April 20-21.

‘Dawson knows an offer, if made, probably won’t come near the surprising four-year, $4.7 million deal Kris Brown received to jump from Pittsburgh to Houston. "It definitely helped define the market,” Dawson said. "So as a fellow member of the market, that did make me feel quite good. But I’m here to be fair."’

‘Dawson has until April 15 to receive an offer sheet. Otherwise he would remain with the Browns.’

‘The Buffalo Bills confirmed Tuesday they will be sporting new uniforms this season and also interviewed five players they think might look good in them.’

@ No doubt Buffalo will experience addition by subtraction, gaining four draft picks in the April 20-21 draft as compensation for free agent losses a year ago that included All-Pro DE Marcellus Wiley.

‘Five more free agents visited Ralph Wilson Stadium on Tuesday: outside linebacker Eddie Robinson of Tennessee; kicker Phil Dawson of Cleveland; tight end Brady McDonnell of the New York Giants; strong safety Billy Jenkins of Green Bay and fullback Richard Huntley, formerly of Pittsburgh.’

‘Robinson said he hasn’t planned to visit any other teams, and also hasn’t ruled out returning to play in Tennessee, where he still resides.’

‘Although final design changes have yet to be determined, it will be the first modification to the Bills uniform since the mid-1980s, when they switched from blue to white pants for road games.’

‘The Bills today announced that the team has decided to modify its uniforms in time for the 2002 NFL season.’
