Two Bills Drive

‘Scott Norwood will return to Buffalo for a rare public appearance at "Kelly vs. Marino: The Final Showdown," the flag football game between the two quarterbacking greats July 21 in UB Stadium.’

‘He’s playing behind an upgraded offensive line that may take until midseason to come together, so his goal is staying healthy. Still, no player acquired this offseason is in a position such as Bledsoe. His performance can make or break the Bills season.’

‘The Roanoke Steam could lose another player to the NFL. Buffalo Bills pro personnel director John Guy said Tuesday there is a good chance his team will sign Steam defensive specialist Jykine Bradley.’

‘The Buffalo Bills on Wednesday agreed to terms with three draft picks: safety Coy Wire from Stanford, fullback Jarrett Ferguson of Virginia Tech and linebacker Dominique Stevenson from Tennessee.’

Selected in the first round of the 1973 draft with a pick obtained from Miami for wide receiver Marlin Briscoe, DeLamielleure’s excitement over being chosen soon vanished because of the results of a physical examination.

The Bills today announced that the team has agreed to terms with three of the team’s 2002 draft picks – safety Coy Wire, fullback Jarrett Ferguson, and linebacker Dominique Stevenson.

The Bills and United Parcel Service will be hosting a pair of events as part of Hit the Books, The UPS – Buffalo Bills Summer Reading Program, this Monday, July 8th. The first will be at 1:30 PM at the Audubon Library located at 350 John James Audubon Parkway in Amherst and the second will be at 3:30pm at the Fronczak Branch Library located at 1080 Broadway Street in Buffalo.

With all this praise coming into the league, without ever running a route in an actual NFL game, you would think that Reed would possess a certain amount of overconfidence. However, that's about the furthest thing from the truth.
