Two Bills Drive

I can’t think of a better situation for my family than to move to Tulsa and become the head football coach."’

Sources tell us South Carolina assisstant coach Charlie Strong is Tulsa’s number one choice, but Strong will interview for the East Carolina job on Wednesday. If he takes that job, Kragthorpe, according to a source in Tulsa, would then be the choice.’

‘Kragthorpe is in his second year with the Bills and tutors starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe. Prior to his post in Buffalo, Kragthorpe coached fours seasons at Texas A&M, spending three of those seasons as the offensive coordinator. He also held coaching positions at Northern Arizona (1990-1993), North Texas (1994-1995) and Boston College (1996).’

‘Kragthorpe, who has coached Bills quarterbacks the last two seasons, is credited with helping Drew Bledsoe return to the NFL’s elite this year after he lost his starting position in New England last year.’

The Bills today announced that the team has placed cornerback Jason Bostic on the Injured Reserve list (knee) and elevated cornerback Marcus Floyd from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
