Two Bills Drive

The Bills, of course, have unleashed the no-huddle too. After watching Drew Bledsoe demolish defenses in September, no NFL team is going to feel safe with a lead against the Bills. Especially when they know that, at any point in time, Buffalo could spring into that high-speed attack. “We wouldn't hesitate to use it,” head coach Gregg Williams said of the no-huddle. “Anytime.”

Whether Buffalo is a serious contender in its division remains to be seen but since Bledsoe has come aboard, having the Bills on your schedule is no longer equivalent of having a bye week.

Drew Bledsoe is in a zone I have never seen him in before. His accuracy, which never was that good, has been perfect.

Callahan said Kennedy saw a neurologist Thursday and received clearance to play Sunday. Kennedy sustained a concussion last Sunday against the Tennessee Titans and missed most of practice this week.

On Oct. 6, cattle farming will be the last thing on Kent Hull’s mind. Hull is receiving the Bills’ highest honor when his name is added to Ralph Wilson Stadium’s Wall of Fame.

Offensive MVP

Drew Bledsoe. His comeback with the Buffalo Bills has been incredible. He is throwing the ball as well as any quarterback in league history. At the rate he is going, he will surpass Dan Marino's seemingly untouchable 1984 season. Bledsoe also is on his way to bumping the greatest Bill of them all, Jim Kelly, from multiple spots in the team record book.

Most memorable play: "I threw a touchdown pass in this total blizzard against the Washington Huskies, a cross-state rival. My receiver caught it and slide in a snow bank underneath the goalpost. We all ran down there and got into a snowball fight under the goal post."

‘"I can pee off my back porch, and there’s nobody that can see me," Hull said.’

Which defense is better equipped to handle the other team’s offense? The Raiders’ defense is better equipped to handle the Bills.

‘"The main thing is that when I’m trying to gain extra yards to just wrap it up," Henry said after practice Friday. "In the Denver game and the Chicago game, I was trying to do extra. That’s when I get into trouble. Once I know I can’t get any extra yards, I have to just wrap it up and go down."’
