Two Bills Drive

‘Warfield had perhaps his best game as a Chief. He intercepted two passes in the Chiefs’ 38-5 rout of the Bills on Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. He also had several bone-crunching hits in the game while recording five tackles.’

‘Quarterback Trent Green said, while the numbers were nice, they weren’t enough. “We’ve had a great start,” Green said. “But we haven’t done anything yet.”‘

‘At that point, with 7:35 left in the half, the Chiefs had 200 total yards to just 72 for the Bills.’

‘If the Chiefs had to travel to Buffalo to face Drew Bledsoe and the Bills, I wouldn’t give them much of a chance to remain unbeaten. But with 79,000 screaming fans at Arrowhead Stadium for a nationally televised game, look for the Chiefs to find yet another way to win a game.’
