‘This year, the Bills have two clear-cut needs: Defensive tackle and cornerback, and unless there’s a player at one of those positions who the Bills absolutely love, and the only way to make sure they get him is to trade up, they should probably stay put at No. 30 and pick the best tackle or corner available.’

Bills Draft Day Decisions: Offensive backfield
‘This is an intriguing position to track when it comes to the Bills 2025 draft strategy. At face value, in would not appear as if Buffalo would be in the market for a running back. But with James Cook pleading his case on social media as he pursues a lucrative contract extension, the Bills have to start thinking about what life would look like if they were unable to retain Cook when his contract runs out at the end of the season.’
Options won't be scarce when the Bills hit the clock with the 30th pick
‘There were no offseason roster purges and they didn’t have to watch any of their prized free agents walk away with a contract out of their price range. Yes, the Bills could use an upgrade at certain positions, but cornerback is the only starting spot left unfilled going into the draft.’
Cornerbacks & defensive tackles the Buffalo Bills should target in the 2025 NFL Draft
‘Reid says the Bills are fortunate because the positions they will likely address early in the draft have a lot of depth. Especially at both cornerback and on the defensive line. So if the Bills don’t trade up in the first round like they did in 2022 (Kaiir Elam) and 2023 (Dalton Kincaid), they should still be in a good spot.’
Orchard Park teen to announce Buffalo Bills first-round pick at NFL Draft
‘When Parzymieso was 2 years old, he was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). The severe “muscle-wasting disease” impacts his heart, lungs and mobility. He relies on a motorized chair, so his family is hosting a fundraiser on May 3 to help him get a chair that he can travel on a plane with.’

Donovan Ezeiruaku's speed would add to Bills' pass-rush arsenal
‘Ezeiruaku, 21, could be a consideration for the Buffalo Bills late in the first round of the draft. Edge rusher is just behind cornerback on the Bills’ needs list, but Buffalo’s playoff exits the past five years have shown they need as much pass rush as they can get against the best competition.’
Critical time ahead for reaching Bills stadium post-construction goals
‘“We are moving forward with our plan to ensure that we put every effort that’s commercially possible to reach those goals,” Penny Semaia, vice president of stadium relations for the Bills, said at Monday’s meeting of the Community Benefits Oversight Committee.’
Second round could be sweet spot for Bills to draft a WR: 6 potential targets
‘With two picks at Nos. 56 and 62, and a general manager in Brandon Beane who is always open to trading his way up or down the draft board, the Bills – even with their primary needs on defense – could be a team to watch when the second round gets underway, especially if a run at the position starts to develop.’
Brasky: Beane, Bills front office must find rapid return on 2025 draft investment — get your popcorn ready
‘When reviewing the Bills’ remaining needs this offseason, a few obvious answers come to mind, particularly cornerback, defensive line and wide receiver. But other positions, such as safety and running back could also be up for consideration early on in the selection process.’
Canadian QB Taylor Elgersma hoping Buffalo pro day springboards him to NFL draft
‘The quarterback was throwing in front of a slew of NFL scouts and every CFL team at the University at Buffalo’s pro day on March 13, having just a quick session the previous day to meet his receivers for the day.’
Bills Community Benefits Oversight Committee passes resolution to address community vulnerabilities
‘”This goes back to a number of weeks and months even, where our smaller group got together. We researched a lot of the information on what’s impacting our region, as well as dialog amongst other practitioners on what really is a highlight. The public hearing that we had as well really focused on the youth. So we wanted to make sure that we were able to pass a resolution today making sure that’s a part of our CBA for this upcoming fiscal year,” stated Semaia.’
Public transportation hub could be developed for new Bills stadium
‘Another priority of the committee mentioned: a transportation hub for the stadium. They say they’ve been working alongside the NFTA about this hub, and hope to have a public forum this summer to have it ready by next summer. They have not announced a date for this meeting at this time.’

NFL draft preview: Off-ball linebacker remains a low-priority position
‘The Buffalo Bills are lucky to have two do-everything linebackers in Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard. That drastically reduces the likelihood of them drafting a player at the position early in the NFL draft later this month, but it shouldn’t be ruled out entirely.’
Mock Draft 2.0: Bills fill their biggest need in the secondary
’30. Buffalo Bills. Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky. Our first mock draft of the season had the Bills going with Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant, who is still on the board here. So why the change? Depth of the defensive tackle class. The Bills should be able to address that position with one of their two second-round draft picks. The depth at cornerback isn’t as great, so grabbing Hairston here fills the team’s biggest positional need heading into the draft. Hairston has blazing speed – his 4.28-second 40-yard dash was the fastest time at the NFL scouting combine – and good production, with six interceptions over the past two seasons. Hairston did have a shoulder injury that limited him to just seven games in 2024, so his durability at 5-foot-11, 183 pounds is a concern. The Bills believe in their sports science department and also made a change at head strength coach this offseason, so they should be able to develop Hairston in that regard.’
Bills are getting a head start on new stadium's grass playing field
‘Having a natural grass playing surface is going to take significantly more effort to build and maintain, but the Bills prioritized it as NFL players push for making playing surfaces safer and more consistent.’
