Mock drafts list options, but beat writer says Bills should go all-in on one player

‘The Bills already have a playoff-caliber roster and Beane augmented it by signing eight free agents from outside the organization and re-signing four from within through Tuesday, but there are still positions that must be upgraded in the draft which begins almost exactly one month from now.’

NFL Draft 2025: Buffalo Bills set to host explosive Texas WR on pre-draft visit

‘Bond, 21, is coming off of a season in which he caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns with the Longhorns. The wide receiver joined Texas after two seasons at Alabama. During his tenure with the Crimson Tide, Bond hauled in 65 passes for 888 yards and five touchdowns.’

Bills have big plans for Dalton Kincaid after injury-filled second season

‘The final image of Kincaid’s 2024 season was the ball squirting through his arms on a diving attempt to snag a fourth-down pass from Josh Allen. Since then Beane has spent his offseason fielding questions about whether Kincaid regressed or if he was going to develop into one of the game’s premier tight ends.’

Bills zeroed in on D-line in free agency, but moves prove risky

‘It is not a new concept for the Bills to build around the lines — it’s been a consistent philosophy under coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane. However, the team has dealt with enough inconsistency and injury over the last couple seasons to confront that area head-on going into 2025.’

Try, try again: Bills remain among top in NFL in spending on D-line

‘The push to bolster the defensive front saw the Bills sign free-agent defensive ends Joey Bosa and Michael Hoecht and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi. They also gave Greg Rousseau a new, $20 million a year contract that puts $19.87 million in his pocket this year. Add it up, and the total cash outlay for 10 defensive linemen currently on the roster is $71.62 million, according to the sports financial website Spotrac.com.’

Buffalo Bills have big decisions to make surrounding future of running game: The options

‘Like all running backs, Cook is fighting the new order in the NFL, one that has devalued the position to the point where in terms of franchise tags, if a team were to place one on a running back in 2025, the pay would be $13.6 million for that one season. That’s the second-lowest tag number ahead of only a special teams player which is $6.3 million.’

Mock Draft I: Bills get bigger on the defensive line

’30. Buffalo Bills. Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan. A 6-foot-4, 331-pounder, Grant would be the big body the middle of the Bills’ defense could really use. He’s considered a dominant run defender who still is developing as a pass rusher. The Bills have Ed Oliver at the other defensive tackle, and his specialty is rushing the passer, so the team could deal with Grant growing as a pass rusher. He had 32 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks in being named a third-team All-American in 2024. Cornerback also would be a consideration at this point, but Grant’s fit in the middle of the Bills’ defense is too good to pass up.’

First upper level seats now being sold for new Bills stadium

‘Fans are saying the team is starting in the upper level at a PSL price point of $5,500 for seats in what is a mostly smaller and more limited 300 level, and $2,500 for seats in the more vast 400 level. Those prices should go down as the Bills sell sections farther away from the 50-yard line and closer to and in the end zone.’

Bills Training Camp to return to St. John Fisher University

‘While details on the number and the time of practices won’t be determined until much later in the spring, it’s very likely the format will be similar to what the team used the last few years for training camp.’

WROC-TV | Mar 24, 2025

Buffalo Bills to return to St. John Fisher for training camp

‘Exact details have not yet been determined, but the Bills will likely have a similar schedule to that of the last few seasons. The team held 10 practices open to the public at Fisher in 2024.’

The makings of a 'gentle giant': At home in Louisiana with Bills guard O'Cyrus Torrence

‘As of the 2020 census, the town – all 2½ square miles of it – had a population of 629. Counted among them just happens to be O’Cyrus Torrence, the Buffalo Bills’ starting right guard for the past two seasons.’

Bills Mailbag: Making sense of Matt Milano's adjusted contract

‘This is speculation, but if it were presented to him as “take this pay cut or we’re going to release you,” the decision becomes easier to understand. The Bills could have made Milano a post-June 1 cut, similar to what they did last year with cornerback Tre’Davious White.’

Erik Brady: McNeese State in NCAA tourney brings up fond memories of Bills all-timer Tom Sestak

‘Sestak was a tight end at McNeese State, in Lake Charles, La. The Bills selected him in the 17th round of the 1962 AFL draft, in December 1961. Months later, when Sestak showed up at training camp, he had packed on so much muscle that Harvey Johnson, who had scouted him, didn’t recognize him.’

‘“We’ve definitely had dialogue with those guys,” Beane said. “That’s probably as far as I would take it.”’
