Prior to that, he was signed by the New York Giants ahead of the 2024 season before being released. At the end of July, he was signed by the Indianapolis Colts, but released shortly after.’

‘Tre Herndon – officially Willie Herndon III – has played in 84 NFL games, including 34 starts.’

‘Star left tackle Dion Dawkins left the field with an apparent injury on Tuesday and did not return to practice.’

‘Safety Cole Bishop was drafted with the hopes that he would be the future at the position for the team. Instead, injuries have plagued his first year and a half in the NFL, and head coach Sean McDermott didn’t mince words when discussing the Utah product on Tuesday.’

‘Cook began holding in last week, not dressing for practice but still being present around the team. He suited up to go through warmups for Buffalo’s Week 1 preseason game against the New York Giants, but didn’t play. According to head coach Sean McDermott, though, Cook’s hold in looks like it’s ending.’

‘The backdrop here is that Cook is entering the final season of his contract and wants a new deal. He stated early in the offseason that he wanted $15 million per year. He’ll be lucky to get the three years and $33 million total that Kyren Williams recently got from the Rams.’
