Bills fans should be encouraged by head coach Sean McDermott’s record against rookie quarterbacks, though. The Bills also are as healthy as they’ve perhaps ever been going into the playoffs, which is a big deal. The last couple wins in the wild-card round have not been overly impressive, so now is a good time to change the trend. I can see this game being close into the fourth quarter, but, ultimately, the Bills will stretch their lead. Bills, 30-20.’

Allen lowered his interception total from 18 to six during the regular season.’

‘All of the pressure in this game is with Buffalo. Denver outplayed its expectations this season with a rookie quarterback. They can lose Sunday and the season will still be a success. If the Bills lose Sunday, the heat on McDermott will be cranked up to the highest level it has ever been. Another year of Allen’s prime will have been wasted – a year in which he has a very real chance to be named the MVP of the league.’
