Eastridge (unranked) played Victor ranked #2 in the state at class A played their Class A finals. Game was a shootout between the passing of Victors Alex Relph, who was honored as the offensive player of teh year at halftime and Eastridges ground game. Score was 33-20 Eastridge at halfime ... and Victor scored twice in the 3rd to lead 34-33. Came doen to Victor scoring with 5 minutes to go and then banged the extra point off the posts to trail by 1. Eastridge then ran and passed the ball to run out the clock. Key play was 4th and 1 on their 45. They went for it and that was the game. First section title EVER in football for Eastridge. Next game at the Ralph next Saturday. Was EXCITING ... way football should be played !!! And Relph was incredible also ... shame his HS career ended with him scoring 46 points .... and losing !
