millbank Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 Owners Spring Meetings amongst things owners will discuss, • A proposal to make instant replay permanent and improve the technology used in that system. • A proposal to move the spot of overtime kickoffs to the 35-yard line instead of the 30-yard line. • A proposal where players could be penalized five yards for spiking the ball in the field of play. The penalty would not apply to touchdowns or plays that end out of bounds. • A proposal to add a radio communication system between a coach and one defensive player, similar to the system that's already in place for offenses.
