Buffan00 Posted September 22, 2004 Share Posted September 22, 2004 Almost every year, besides the Clements and Winfield years, we get these 1st rounders who are supposed to "step right in and contribute" and this was SURELY supposed to be the case this year with Evans, and poof!!!...Nothing! All these other teams are using their 1st rnders, and some 4th rnders on OL are producing (Tenne. i think) But year in an year out we are hyped up in the offseason with hope of a little help from the draft, and it never pans! Evans was supposed to come in an "stretch the "D" to free up Moulds in the middle and get better production from Reed in the slot" So far it hasnt happened!
