Trump’s comment at a Cabinet meeting came after he moved to fire central bank Governor Lisa Cook, an appointee of former President Joe Biden. Trump has already appointed two board members and he picked Stephen Miran, one of his top economic advisors, to serve out the rest of retired Governor Adriana Kugler’s term.
