What we can Learn from the Seahawks

The Seahawks were a below average team that was clearly improving last year but in need of a QB. They decided to get a competition going between a hot FA, a mature mid round pick and the previous starter. The best player went on to win the competition and they are 9-5.

The Redskins did a similar thing by bringing in two rookie QBs and letting the best player play. They lead the division.

The Bills aren't that far away talent wise but they need significantly better QB play. They should let Thigpen go and bring in 2 rookie or FA QBs to compete with Fitz and Tarvares Jackson. The best 3 stay and the best one starts opening day.

One thing we shouldn't learn from the Seahawks is using flea flickers and fake punts while already up big against a non-playoff team, just wanting to get the season over with. When they need to use those plays later this season, they won't have them available and it will most likely cost them.
