NYPD Chief Ray Kelly destroys liberal hypocrisy

Isaiah’s injury prompted Kelly to challenge all the critics who inaccurately decry the stop -and- question program as both an ineffective tool and a wholesale trampling of civil rights.

Calling them “shockingly silent when it comes to the level of violence right in their own communities,” he said: “Many of them will speak out about stop-and-frisk, but who will speak out about the elephant in the corner, which is the inordinate level of violence that exists in many of these communities?”

He also said: “I want them to be outraged that a 3-year-old child is shot on the streets. There doesn’t seem to be any major community response. Or demonstrations, we have not had a demonstration about this 3-year-old child.”

I think what is finally going on in this country is "liberal fatigue" is setting in. People are fed up with holding their tongues and being politically correct while the country swirls the drain. This is why I'm predicting a huge Romney win with Romney taking states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio who have seen first hand the horrible job liberals have done in Philly, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Cleveland.

Don't get excited-

The response was an instantaneous anger that was understandable to the extent that Kelly created the false impression of a general disregard for safety among black and Latino leaders. Clearly, this was not the message that a commissioner who had striven to build bridges intended to convey.

Same old story. Kill the messenger.

It's like an intervention. The person you're trying to help get's mad at first but if you're persistent you can help them. For too long people have just given up after upsetting someone.
