Guest RabidBillsFanVT Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Sony laptops have an inherent flaw that makes them unable to boot up on a consistent basis after about 1-2 years of use. The frame doesn't support the bottom well, and over time, it bends. This bending causes the memory circuitry to touch internal parts because of pressure, which causes a failure when the computer tries to boot. In other words, after 1-2 years, the laptops start failing to boot up every time. Because I care ( ), this is a warning. Don't let it happen to you!
