At least this will buy time to groom a qb for a year and not to have to throw a rookie into the fire. I always knew Fitz had the smarts, but i'm impressed with his guts to put the ball in there and to run when he see's the chance. His arm strength has been impressive. The o-line pass protected very well yesterday, i saw Fitz making a lot of calls on who to pick and where they were coming from. Something JP and Trent did not do. Ozymandius Posted October 26, 2010 Share Posted October 26, 2010 If Fitz finishes with a good year (and like others, I've been very pleased with his play... how could you not?), I hope the Bills don't make the mistake of signing him to a big contract extension just yet. Make him prove it for a second year. Don't make a Derek Anderson or David Garrard type mistake where one big year becomes a huge contract right away.
