Good Teams Don't Rebuild

Recommended Posts

Tonight during the Eagles/49ers game, Michaels mentioned that the Eagles have no starters left from their 2004 Super Bowl team. Not a single starter left.

Over the last five seasons, while turning over their entire roster, they managed playoff appearances in three out of those five seasons while playing in the tough NFC East.

We HAVE to rebuild. When you have a lot of good players, you can replace them with smartly used draft picks as they leave your team (retirement, trades, release, etc.).

McNabb is gone, plug in Kolb. Westbrook gone, plug in McCoy. T.O. gone, plug in Jackson.

They have good players, and they don't mess up when they replace them. We have bad players, and replace them with more bad players.
