Due to the fact that this is now our 13th year not making the playoffs. I think that Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd sums it up best. I am becoming numb to the losing. Have a great christmas everyone!!!

Yes I did the same and I used to wake up early hoping he would announce that my school was closed due to a snow day! Thank God for lake effect in the Southtowns!
I always loved it when I would hear that Springville High was closed.

Yeah, www.wgr550.com has a listen now button, that will work. I usually listen to WGR on my android app, but for some reason it has been really buggy lately, can't catch much of the John Murphy Show without it telling me it's playing but no audio...
Nevermind, it's not my thread haha... yes, website version of WGR will work for you.
I have found when I have trouble listening to GR on my tablet, I go to TUNEIN.COM and listen to GR through that site.

Oh and add this to the mix, the dreaded 18 game schedule. I believe that teams would want two starter quality QB on their rosters. That way your starter does not have to play all 18 games.

p.s. ET1062 your post got me thinking about my mother who is currently going through pancreatic cancer. She has been battling now for over a year. If I may be so rude to ask, How long did your Mother battle her cancer?

When I watched the Arkansas v. Auburn game I really got to watch both Mallet and Cam Newton. I really began to like Newton better. I understand that Mallet got hurt in the game so it wasn't a full 60 minutes of both QB's, but it was enough to get a good look. What are people's opinions on Newton.

I watched the game (obviously) and he did look better than Jarrod Johnson who some thought might be a sleeper candidate. Weeden will be a product similar to a Texas Tech or Urban Meyer taught QB in the spread. I don't think his game would translate well to the NFL.
I never thought of that. He did have one issue that I did think of at the time watching him. It was his delivery, i think they refer to it as 3/4 delivery. So ya I guess I'll pass on him.

Lets hope the 2011 season is shortened by a lockout and we just draft a LT round 1 RT round 2 trade up into the 2nd again pick up a OLB that can rush the passer and then only have to endure a shorter season of crap and then draft a QB who will actually be able to get some protection and then draft a tightend or help out the D in round 2.
All in all we need a lot of talent but before we go out and get a QB lets get a LT and a RT who can open up holes and protect the QB. And if we do draft a QB in round one we need to at least grab a RT in round 2 to try and help out the O-line. We can't go another draft without addressing the O-line.
My ideal draft scenario would be to go out and grab a QB round 1 a LT with the early 2nd rounder then go out and trade back into the 2nd to pick up a RT. At least we would get the foundation of the offense in place.
What if the Bills finish bad enough to get one of the top three picks and there are two cant miss LT's and A.Luck does come out this draft? Then what do they do?

Did anyone else watch the OK St vs TX A&M game from two weeks ago? I thought that the qb, Brandon Weeden from OK St was better than average. Now I will admit that I didn't see the whole game. My thinking is that with his age(26 or 27 yrs old) and having been in pro baseball he might be able to handle the pressures of the nfl better than some of the younger guys. Oh and if this belongs in another thread, sorry, feel free to move it.

I'd love molson to sponsor the NFL, but people south of NY don't have the pleasure of being able to purchase molson canadian at their local wilson farms...
I don't know if this has been mentioned already but we can get Molson and Labatts Blue at some markets here in the San Diego, CA area.

I think Williams is projected as a RT isn't he? Honestly, I don't want a top 5 pick unless I think there is almost a lock for a great player. In the case of trading up (still would love Suh probably) it isn't really worth it when you factor in we are a cash to the cap team and what we have to give away to move up. In that case I would probably prefer to trade down. Of course, that is hard to do, but if say Spiller drops to us, might be possible.
Point well taken. I would prefer to move back and get a couple of extra picks since most draft experts are saying this is a really deep overall draft.

Oops, I just assumed with his size and speed he could play NT. My bad, they do have him projected as DE in the 3-4.
No, and I realize he isn't likely to drop much past that. I would be willing to move up some, not sure exactly how much.
What about up to the #4 and get trent williams since some mock drafts have the skins taking him there. Would there be much difference in going up to get T. Williams or staying put and possibly landing Bulaga?

I would consider trading up to the second pick for Ndamukong Suh.
What about moving up to two to get Okung?
