  1. To all,

Looking for help finding a place in the Rockville, Germantown, Gaithersburg area to watch the Bills game with people of the same desire to see a bills win, be loud, and HAVE Fun. I have found some options in side DC but would like to find options more north on I-270.

    Please lay out some suggestions.

I live in Germantown. I go to Hard Times in Germantown. Not too many Bills fan there but they have everything you could want.

  2. Just saw that: :w00t: That's pretty much the best capstone I have heard for this whole issue = You cheated, you knew it was wrong, you did it anyway, and now you have nobody to blame but yourself. Your history is permanently tainted and if you want to get angry about that, start with your coach and your team.

I don't understand Pats* fans blaming everybody else but themselves and their leaders for their team's poor choices and bad behavior. I suppose they probably think Bill Clinton's Blowgate Special wasn't his fault either. Certainly they seem to think Teddy Kennedy's vehicular manslaughter fun wasn't his fault, they keep voting for him...

Perhaps they are just more "forgiving" than the rest of us :w00t:

Ahhh, an obsessed republican getting his shots in...even on a football message board. Typical righty.

  3. This isn't meant as an insult to the Canadian fans, I think most of the "real" Canadian fans support the Bills staying in Buffalo. But I wonder, with the alcohol and passion of so many Bills fans....mixing that with drunk Canadians, could things get ugly? 4,5,6 hours of tailgaiting, things get said. Considering the talk of the impending doom...THE BILLS IN TO.

  4.

I live between DC and Baltimore. I can tell you that the city is a dump. There is a small section on the water that attracts tourists...has some bars etc.. Other than that it may be the scariest damn place I've been to. The area near M&T Bank stadium looks like a place their star LB would be an accomplice to murder. When HBO does a tv serious depicting how dangerous and murder filled your city is, I wouldn't bash another city.

  5. I usually judge the potential of a draftee by their performance in a rookie mini camp.

    RTB

Wow, you guys are tough. The first thing I said was that I know it's early.....was just adding that to the tantrums and 40 time issues. Maybe I should have just started a Losman v Edwards thread.

  6. Unfortunately I'm stuck in DC....so I get to hear the goings on at Redskins camp first hand.

Seems like Malcolm Kelly isn't giving it the full effort already. I understand it's only week 1 of rookie camp...but isn't this when he should be going all out?

    Coach Zorn after practice:

"There was one time in a one-on-one that Malcolm beat the defender, and we didn't get the ball to him," Zorn said. "As he saw the ball sail over his head, he slowed down. My emphasis was 'Don't slow down, speed up, just make an effort.'

Not that it means much but it may be a sign when combining it with his pre-draft antics.

  7. I don't often but do like to read everyone's views when I have time. Today was one of those days. Maybe I'm in the minority but I liked our draft.

Anyway, an article on aol sports had us as 1 of 3 teams with an A grade this weekend. It's only aol sports so take it for what it's worth......just a nice change of pace from the negativity.

  8. The draft is all about opportunity. You are going to have some hits and misses no matter who you are. That means when a rare sure thing presents itself, you should grab it.

If you were a team that had the positional needs:

    WR

    CB

    Owen Schmitt

    DE

    TE

    OL depth

and you had the chance to use your FOURTH round pick not only to take one of those positions, but to fill it with a proven commodity, would you do it?

Of course you would, but the Bills didn't. It is not even draft day and Brandon has failed his first test miserably. Pac Man Jones is a no brainer and we let him get away. Now we are on to the draft where we will inevitably have some hits and some misses. <_<<_<

Like I said, everyone has hits and misses and Brandon should not be expected to be perfect. But I do think we as fans have the right to expect him to act on obvious situations like this. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

As painful as it may sound, guys like Pac-Man Jones aren't going to stay in a city like Buffalo. You don't think Pac Man wanted to go to Dallas because of winning do you? It's because it's Dallas. You want the Bills to trade for a headcase who is known for shooting up stripclubs? You want a guy who has been suspended for the last year and who now may not even play this year? Stop thinking with your Playstation 2.
