Tbh, they aren’t giving up extra capital, so the longterm risk is lower. They can take whoever at this point or trade back. Going to be hard to get upset one way or another. I think they’ve played this smart

With the Cowboys behind us now, Washington may want to jump them for their preferred remaining OT. Hoping for a trade back.
It really does seem to be falling that way. -
Give me the Center and let’s grab a WR later.

I really think this is the year. We are under the radar again for the first time since before thirteen seconds. Allen is about to enter the next phase of his career with something to prove—but minus the microscope. I can’t help but feel like things are going to come together.

Pretty good chance of this happening…I could see the Bills sitting some guys in this scenario, but it would depend on the seeding and matchup possibilities that are in play…for example, can we avoid a first round trip to Baltimore or KC by winning?
This! Drawing the AFC south would be a huge advantage. Cleveland may have that road blocked though. -
Wow, what a wildly bad play call on fourth down.

I can’t believe the Bills defense collapsed against this team…

Bills need a new secondary next year. Probably won’t have the cap space to really build a decent one again until 2025
The cap mismanagement has been pretty bad with key misplaced large contracts. Not sure what they are going to do next season, but regardless of the path, their finances will be limited. -

Maybe stop drafting 2nd/ 3rd round RBs if you’re just going to bench them at any mistake
wasted picks. The RBs that we had were fine when they started all of the shuffling- 2

Good teams find ways to win, even when not playing their best. But the Steelers are taking that a whole new level.
Tomlin just refuses to finish below .500.
That dude is a just a great coach. He has done well across so many different situations with that team.

Are you kidding me? Zay catches that one? After doing nothing for us? Boy it’s just one of those days already.
He has been a good player for them though in general, I think. -

I feel like Wilson/Jeudy are one of the biggest risks heading into fantasy this year. About as risky as taking Evans with Mayfield throwing.
Heck, Mayfield/Evan’s seem like a better bet right now. There is a chance that Mayfield surprises. Wilson looks done.

That’s not really a huge surprise. Losing the Ticket meant DTV had to get RedZone. They still suck (and that’s coming from a guy who had DTV for nearly 30 years).
YTTV has been awesome. So glad I switched.
I’m glad that it works for ya. The internet in the area that I live in isn’t dependable enough to make that kind of switch. We have the lower tier, with the sports pack, and with the annual calls for discounts, the price isn’t that bad, tbh.
But again, a lot of this depends on where people live and what they want from the service.

One more update on this front, DirecTV is now carrying the Redzone channel this fall as part of its Sports Pack. This puts me even further in the camp of not getting YouTube.

Thank you for doing this! I'm probably forgoing Sunday Ticket this year in Southwest Florida unless they offer some sort of significant discount. With the Dolphins games being televised in addition to the ones that you listed, it just doesn't make much sense to buy the full package at the current price. I really hoped that YouTube would offer some sort of team-based or redzone-only package, but they (I think mistakenly) took a different course.
Anyway, thank you again for doing this and sharing the information. I appreciate it!

Assume that Peacock will only be necessary for out of market cities. I'd think that the 2 participant cities local networks will bid for the local broadcast as they do for preseason and other streaming games.
Free trial or worse case scenario, pay $5 an cancel - big deal.
My concern is not the current cost but rather how this escalates in coming years once they've gotten smart TVs or firesticks in every house and we become slaves to these viewing habits.
Will we start to get gauged for a single-month of service to incentivize us to get 3, 4, or 5 month bundles? I can see that happening.
Will the $72/month YoutubeTV fee inch it's way towards $140/month once they wrangle a few million subscribers more than they have now? Count on it.
At that point we're almost back to the pre-cut the cord days.
I'm keeping Directv. At least they have actual humans to talk and negotiate with. $60/month for a fairly comprehensive package with HBO and Max.
Luckily, at least 10-13 regular season games are just about guaranteed in this market.
I'm keeping DirecTV as well. I live out in the sticks a bit, so the internet is not always reliable.

As a sign of the era we live in, we're all seeing the picks at different times because our streams aren't synced.
The threads this season are going to be wild, lol -

Okay, everyone, fair enough 😅
You all are feisty on draft day, lol.

The Bills Store has a discount on James Cook's jersey with his original number. It's a better deal than what I usually see listed for this sort of thing online. In person, you can find better deals, but for us out-of-towners, the pickings are usually slim.
Anyway, I haven't bought a new jersey in forever, but this seemed like a good time, so I grabbed one. If anyone is interested, here is the link: https://shop.buffalobills.com/collections/player_james-cook/products/nike-game-home-james-cook-jersey

I think this may be the lone game this year where the Bills get blown out.
tbh, I have this same fear. Pats are going to be extremely motivated, and our defense is pretty banged up.- 1
