Who's defending him??
The issue that I see most people taking with this situation was the response he got.
Just to clarify, I am religious but keep my beliefs to myself. Tebow should have done the same.
He got a typical response from a young man who was about to take a very important test.
To me, the Peanut Butter bunny is much more important than this story...
Just looking over the thread quickly.. posts #6, 10, and 13 are defending him. There are places for religious preachings..they are called churches in his case.
But i cant argue the fact that peanut butter bunny is the important piece here.

Not the least bit surprised...unless your name is Ray Lewis, keep your religion to yourself.
Everyone who is defending tebow on this...what if he was a different religion and asked to say a prayer... i bet you wouldnt be supporting him now...just a thought...

Not that I care, but the Bills will be accused of being racist for hiring Gailey. Not by many but by a few. I can already picture Wilbon on PTI railing against the hiring of a retread white coach instead of Frazier.
Again, I personally don't care one way or another. Just predicting that a few accusations of racism will come.
We just had a black coach for half the season....

if you think ralph is going to pay a top 5 pick then you are dreaming... the obvious move is to trade down and miss out on a possible franchise QB so you dont have to pay them the money. We will get the generic line of "we have many holes to fill". Which is true, but not for the right reasons, i.e paying top money.

I have been a member here for a long time and i read the site daily, i just dont post much. The last couple of weeks I have notices a lot of people calling the guy a bust. So i just thought I'd prove how ridiculous that sounds. Its like grading a draft the day after. And thanks for the compliments on the post, there are still a few somewhat rational, intelligent people on here ...

How can you already write off a WR coming off a rookie season? Its one of the hardest positions to make the transition to the NFL. Read the following players' stats from their rookie years and tell me if you would have written them off:
a. Games - 12 | Catches - 22 | Yards - 273 | TDs - 0
b. Games - 16 | Catches - 35 | Yards - 520 | TDs - 4
c. Games - 15 | Catches - 20 | Yards - 309 | TDs - 2
d. Games - 13 | Catches - 16 | Yards - 269 | TDs - 1
e. Games - 13 | Catches - 27 | Yards - 345 | TDs - 0
Scroll down to see who these players are and you will see my point...
a. Plaxico Burress - off field problems but similar playing style to what Hardy can one day hopefully become.
b. Terrell Owens - no comment
c. Brandon Marshall - no comment
d. John Stallworth - different era, but still proves my point
e. Reggie Wayne - no comment
I know Hardy only had 9 catches or something like that but I think the Bills' coaching staff understands that it takes time for a WR to develop so they are limiting his gametime in favor of learning. This year may not be a breakout year because of TO, but next year will be the year everyone can pass their judgement on him.

I believe it was NFL network's Adam Schefter who reported it.

the point was that in a thread about getting 2 WR's in the draft, a stupid outburst about how bad Jaroun is or isn't was not warranted or wanted
the point of the thread was a joke about having 3 guys on offense named Kelly, Thomas, and Reed...those names sound a little familiar?
-
drafting kelly and thomas would not be a good idea, this team has bigger needs. And there is no way we would be able to get two of the top 5 receivers in the draft. Just a dumb idea
-
why would Seattle cut Alexander now? If I were GM I would of tried to trade him on draft day and get whatever I could for him. This also shows Seattle's hand- they are hurting at RB.
nobody would want to pick up his contract
